Very interesting. We have three teams ahead of us in the power rankings right now (Jazz-2, Magic-3, and Lakers-6) that have some of our players that have been on our team within the last three years. Okur, Arroyo, Darko, Parker, and Evans. Parker is actually starting for the Lakers now I think (he sure has alot of minutes). Looks like Phil had his eye on our bench. We need to tell these other teams to leave their mitts off of our players (tongue in cheek of course). Somehow we need to find a way to quit stocking other teams ahead of us in the power rankings. Joe needs to get his touch back.

Maybe we need to go on the offensive and spread nasty rumors about our players to drive their market value down!

    Just kidding.

Maybe the Pistons need to hire coaches that recognize talent. Guys like Darko, Delfino, Arroyo and Okur shouldn't be getting away for NOTHING.

Part of our problem is the coaches aren't playing the most talented players, They play their favorites, or the ones they feel most comfortable with. They can't leave more talented players on the bench and expect them to be happy about it.

I can't imagine that Amir is thrilled to sit for 5-6 years (that seems to be the current progression rate for a young player to EARN HIS TIME). I can't imagine that Jason Maxiel enjoys tearing it up in the preseason only to get BENCHED and BENCHED HARD early in the season.

The Pistons have a horrible track record with young talent, NO YOUNG PLAYER WANTS TO BECOME A PISTON. That will soon enough be fact if it isn't already.

The Pistons need to change their atmosphere and attitude towards younger players.

There just isn't PT to be earned, that's just a lie told to draft picks to keep them happy for the first couple years before reality sets in and they know their career will never start or thrive here.

DETROIT IS DEATH TO ALL ROOKIES.

Perhaps Joe D is just doing too good of a job at bringing in talent. The coaches are getting handed more players than they have available minutes.

These guys at the end of the bench just need a chance and the right place to flourish. Even a guy like Ronald Dupree could do well if put in the right situation.

Ronald Dupree is a super-stud athlete, but he isn't an NBA player. He did have a shot in Minnesota last year and he couldn't cut it there either.

He is a great practice squad guy but he is barely a fringe NBA player.

Dupree is the perfect guy to have as your 15th player. Been in the league for a while, won't complain about PT, can give you energy in short spurts if injuries hit.

That may be true for the championship season, but in the last two, there has been no excuse for not letting anyone of the promising players (Fino, Milicic, Arroyo, Maxiell, Johnson) play. When, if not this season with one of the weakest East ever, should the taltents play???
