How did you engineer his turnaround? He is much kinder and more gentle.

There seems to be a thread dedicated to the Philadelphia Eagles on a Detroit basketball forum.

Also, I noticed a thread named Rotations. After reading through it, I think it was misplaced and should be moved back to the Fantasy Basketball section.

I recently reformed myself, and so I recognized those same seeds of change in Darth. That and his latent capacity to love, his keen intellect, and humanitarian disposition which has been omnipresent since 2005.

From there, it was only a matter of gently nudging him towards his true path, nature did the rest.

Also, blackmail by Woody may have been involved.

Did an update to the forum last night. It's been tricky lately with Tiger games and Pistons preseason, finding a good time to close the forum for a bit, but last night it got done in 15 mins and I am happy about that.

I will be sending out an important preseason email and posting some information on the forum about the upcoming season and state of the forum.

Also, the other admins are going to be tidying up some of the forums, the stickies, etc. If you notice anything which can be improved with regards to stickies or whatnot, and can make your point in a constructive manner, feel free to do so in this thread.

    Thanks.

So I nearly have this year's game threads setup and I added a link at the top of the forum directly to the game threads forum.

If you mouse over the link, you get a small drop down.

If you click the link, it takes you to the top level of the game threads by month forums.

I am still working on a feature to show in the list how many unread threads there are in each forum.

Also, I will be making some announcements early next week. I am tidying up a lot of loose ends this weekend.

Game threads are up for 2013/14.

If anyone is wondering how I post 82+ game threads each year without committing suicide, I use a tool called iMacros.

I basically spend about an hour putting together a CSV (spreadsheet) of all of the necessary game data, then I use iMacros to actually take that data and post it to a CREATE NEW THREAD page in the format I want.

My script takes about 75 mins to create 82 game threads and while it did error out once last night (I caught it) I can usually run it while I am away from the computer, so I did dishes last night while game threads were posting.

This was a very nerdy post. Basically, if you ever need to automate repetitious behavior on a website, for fun or profit, iMacros may be your tool.

That's ok. I really enjoyed clicking through all 82 game threads one at a time. CJ the Slow Adult. :)
