Rumor: Jason Kidd headed to the Knicks Jason Kidd reportedly spurns the Dallas Mavericks to finish a career off as a New York Knick | Ball Don't Lie - Yahoo! Sports Wow, everybody's jumping ship from the Mavs. First the Jet and now the Kidd. Granted they're both getting older, but that's your starting backcourt. So, essentially Dirk is left with rookies plus: Vince Carter -> a has-been loser Shawn Marion -> glue guy Brandon Haywood -> lumbering big guy Beabois -> French Will Bynum knockoff D. Jones -> who? B. Wright -> second tier bench guy They need help FAST.
The Rockets send Lowry to Toronto for nothing 1st round pick. Kyle Lowry is traded to the Toronto Raptors, as the Houston Rockets continue to tear it up | Ball Don't Lie - Yahoo! Sports The Rockets are completely gutting the team. This caught my eye: I've always liked Lee's play. I wouldn't mind if Joe picked him up to round up our guard rotation. So that'll be Knight-Lee as starters and Stuckey coming off the bench with English. Bynum rides the pine.
ESPN rumors indicate that Grant Hill is considering joining Nash in Lala land. Old timers seeking rings and Kobe trying to exceed Magic and tie and go ahead of Jordan.
Maybe Kobe can sign with the Heat.
Joe continues to pay the "opportunity cost" on top of Rod Stuckey's $8.5 million dollar contract. C-Lee a classic example of a SG that could be had for waaaaaaaaayyyyyy cheaper and IMO would make the team better. The league is full of these guys.
That would be one way to stick it to Steve Nash.

Source -- New York Knicks' Jeremy Lin agrees to sign offer sheet with Houston Rockets - ESPN New York
NY has a chance to match though... but will they?
Sixers to amnesty Elton Brand: Sixers to waive forward Elton Brand under NBA's amnesty policy - Yahoo! Sports Brandon Roy is attempting a comeback with the Wolves. This I like. Hope it becomes the new feel-good story of the NBA. Wolves bring Roy aboard, hope to add Batum - Yahoo! Sports Nick Young to Philly. Guard Nick Young agrees to join 76ers - Yahoo! Sports Nelson stays with the Magic. Magic, Nelson agree in principle to new contract - Yahoo! Sports
I'm gonna burn my Wilkins jersey if he signs for another team, that's fo sho.

Ryan Anderson to Hornets. Hornets acquire Ryan Anderson in sign-and-trade with Magic - Yahoo! Sports
Massive blockbuster trade in the works for sending Howard to Brooklyn. Proposed Dwight Howard deal to Nets could contain more than 10 players - Yahoo! Sports Now that last bit with Humphries is interesting. It would be fun to play the spoiler and offer him a 4-year deal. I wonder if there is anyway we can get in the fray with picking up Humphries along the way.
Sources -- Brooklyn Nets, Orlando Magic need fourth team to possibly complete Dwight Howard trade - ESPN New York Clippers would be the 4th team involved in this deal and their board is ecstactic about the possibility of adding Brooks, since they have already lost both Mo Williams and Nick Young. Since Billups may not return until January the addition of Brooks helps them tread above water until he comes back and most importantly it increases the chances of CP3 re-signing next summer and keeps the Lakers from getting Dhoward.... Just wondering if Joe can find multiple teams involved to move CV and Tay if possible to get a young established stud to back up Knight or another big up front that can play right now.
