The trade that was supposed to send Mickael Pietrus to the Toronto Raptors from the Phoenix Suns in what seemed to be a salary dump has been canceled. Pietrus apparently has yet to recover from the knee injury he suffered against the Raptors all the way back in March of last season.

They're in desparate need of a PG after waiving Billups. Who do they have that we would want? If they're after JJ Barea, they would do backflips for Bynum or Stuckey.
Probably couldn't afford Stuckey anyway, especially based on what Joe D said about the negotiations. And I don't think they have much left in terms of trade-able assets in order to think about Bynum.
I was under the impression from last year that they finally figured out that Stucky is more of a 2 and Brand Knight was drafted to take over the point. Who knows, maybe they will try Knight at the 2.
Jazz signed point guards Jamaal Tinsley and Keith McLeod, an ex-Jazz player, and forward Trey Gilder. Tinsley, McLeod and Gilder signed non-guaranteed camp contracts, so they are fighting for roster spots for the upcoming 66-game season.

The Golden State Warriors announced the signings of free agent F Gary Flowers, F Chris Wright and G/F Edwin Ubiles. Flowers, 25, earned first-team all-Conference USA honors last season as a senior at Southern Mississippi. The 6-8 Flowers averaged 18.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks. Wright, 23, played four seasons at Dayton. The 6-8 Wright earned third-team all-Atlantic 10 honors last season by averaging 13.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocks. Ubiles, 25, started this season with the Warriors-owned Dakota Wizards of the NBA Development League. In five games, the 6-6 Ubiles averaged 18.6 points and 8.2 rebounds.
