    IT'S GAME DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The wait is over! The Pistons are ready to roll and we are ready for another exciting season. We have a great new forum (thanks to Micro and the gang), a new coach with a plan for offense, a promising bench that will include playing time for Darko, a hungry and more fit Sheed, a Prince with contract in his back pocket and a point guard with the green light.

Questions for the season: Will Flip match well with this team and be able to help them through the tough times? Will the price for more offense be less defense? Will the players adjust to more offensive freedom and zone defense? Will the Carlos boys step up and be dependable off the bench? Can Darko consistently give quality minutes in real games? Will Ben be thinking about free agency? Can Rip play without a mask? Will Sheed step up or blow up? Will Indiana pile up wins in the regular season and bump Detroit into the 4 seed? Will Prince be more aggressive? Can the players stay healthy? Will the bench be a force? Will Joe make a big trade? Will the Pistons be champs again?

What are your questions for the season?

Oh man, it's been like 4 or 5 months.....

    GOOD MORNING SANDDUNES! :D:D:D

This is now officially my favorite thread. Peeps from the D-News will remember those game day greetings from our old pal.

    Dunes comes through

I was a little worried that Dunes would forget the tradtional game day greeting but no need.

This is such a solid team..my main question mark is the Flip factor.

Glad to see the Robin Williams, I mean Sanddunes, welcome.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of legs the Sixers have tonight. They basically played only 7 guys in their home opener last night.. AI played 50 minutes, Webber played 48 minutes, and 4 other players logged 34+ minutes each, in their overtime loss to the Bucks.

Goooooooooooood Morning Piston Fans!!! It’s game day In Boston!

First road game and a great place to play. Well….is what we saw in that exciting opening game what this season’s Pistons are about (a must faster pace). Will Rip be a scoring machine this year or was it just his night. Will fast break points become common? Will the bench be dependable?

Will a game against this current Boston team produce extra minutes for the bench? Could Darko get his first double double tonight?

I dont think the writer (sharp?) watched the preseason or something. darko is quite a bit bigger, looks a little quicker, and is a heck of a lot younger, nobody knows how he will play out but I personally think he will be a LOT better than raef in the end.

But I have Raef on my team as well so hopefully he gets lots of blocks and 3's tonight in a Piston's blowout!

Blocks and Boards are what I need. 3's would be a nice bonus.

Will the Pistons stick to stifling D? Will the bench get more minutes? Will Darko play smarter not harder?

Boston Garden or Fleet Center ........

Boston Garden or Fleet Center, it probably makes no difference. I would love to hear the rookies opinion of the visitors locker room in the Celtics home arena. I wonder if all of the crummy amenities were carried over to the newer place. Tales from days gone by talk of rodents, only cold running water, no heat, broken windows.....

    Watch out for the Leprechaun.

Goooooooooooooood Morning Pistons Fans!! It’s game day back home vs. Toronto!

Woooooow!! What a clutch shot and exciting win!

New day, new game. OK, which team are the real Pistons? Game 1 or game 2? Can Rip keep up this pace? Can that bench give more minutes and more points? What’s Sheed trying to do?

Do you like the new coach’s press conferences better than the old? Knowing what you now know about the current team, would you still want Rose on this team? Would he have worked well?

How about 3-0 as they head out West! And 10 points for Darko tonight!

    Gooooooooooooo Pistons!!

I am feeling the Pistons this year. I really am. Darko is going to have to earn more PT, but I think he is going to.

    Go Pistons

Looking forward to seeing Bulldog tonight. I know we could only offer him a small one year contract, BUT don't you think Mike James wishes he could do it over...he has moved every couple of months only to find himself in NBA purgatory. Could have made a difference last year..... Mike really caused us trouble last year.

I like watching Sheed match up with the young studs. He always gets up for them, just so they don't forget their place. I would also like to see Darko get some time locked up with Bosh, I think he has the quickness to handle the long-necked one.

Couple of rooks to watch, Villanueva has been getting alot of good press so far and Joey Graham, a guy that many thought would make a good Piston.
