I highly doubt anyone will pick him up or sign him. Perhaps the Cavs may give him a look as it is the only team in the contender picture that doesn't have a strong SG.

Bulls forum had some talk about picking him up.

Maybe this is why Joe was keeping an open spot on our roster?

We are short a SG with Rip's ankle sprain and all.

If AI could be convinced to take a 3rd string role with us and pretty much provide locker room leadership and the occasional role player stint, this could be like having another Chucky Atkins on the team. I'd recommend it.

I don't think they would, that would mean salmons would have to move to the 3 and deng to the 4 or one of them would have to go to the bench and i don't see either happening. Plus they would be much worse defensively.

    They are disillusioned with Salmons.

""""The Grizzlies and Allen Iverson have come to a mutual agreement that because of personal matters that forced him to leave the team on Nov. 7, Allen will step away from the game at this time, allowing him to focus on those matters," """

Uh oh. Sounds like that back is acting up again. Those pesky back problems.

This makes the Pistons look a lot better. Sort of clears up any suspicion of wrong doing last year.

Geez. Gimme a break. Yeah the Memphis Grizzlies have now cleansed and purified Joe Dumars. Amen. Glory Hallelujah.

It's really a good thing it all happened just the way it happened.

Does anyone know the reason the Bobcats didn't sign Iverson in the offseason?

I think it was something about the team was up for sale or they have some complicated ownership situation and financially they were all a mess. I know he went and worked out there for them and as far as I know the Wizards had him come too. But only those 3 teams expressed enough interest that he went to workouts and negotiations. He tweeted about it on that Twitter thing.

How long is Little KMart out? You all could use AI in Sacramento couldn't you?? And then you can watch his dogs when he takes the family out on the road games:MusicBigGrin:

You know we really could use him in Sacramento. But you know I just don't even want to get my hopes up of him still playing. I'm just glad I got to see him play in what turned out to be the first of only 3 games. Memphis never seemed liked a likely destination to me for him. I do have to say that being his designated dogsitter would be just about heaven for me. :)I'm not sure how long Kevin Martin is out for but that team is at .500 which I guess is quite the accomplishment for them. One thing is for sure, AI would liven them up a little. They are a big yawn to me. This is a very nice idea Dre, thanks for thinking of me. :pound:

Im still laughing at the grizz' intro on their jumbo screen opening night with Allen as their leader talking about hard work and crap! hahahhahahhahhahaa Ive never seen an organization so embarrassed since the Pistons hired Dick Vitale, then Micheal Curry and drafted Darko milichoke over Carmelo ,Bosh and Wade.

Sorry. I was banned from the Iverson fan club last spring for being a hater. Still recovering from it.

Looks like the Knicks will be in for him - might be OK for them, he'd be a guaranteed starter at SG for that rabble surely?
