Stern has forgoten who pays his salary and to who the league needs to cater to. Catering the league to 80 year old stuff shirts who go the game in 5K suits and drink champagne while watching the game is not who the core audience is. I agree that the whinning about every foul call had gotten out of hand but how about some accountablity from the officials? These guy's do make mistakes and to act like they don't does the game a diservice. The other major sports address officiating issues when they occur by issuing statements or even suspension of the refs involved when it is obvious a mistake was made.

When have we ever seen a ref taken to task in the NBA? I rembember a ref telling Allen Iverson he was going to kick his butt and he did not use that term if he did not get out of his face. So when Iverson reacted the ref ran like the coward he was and Iverson got the 25K fine. Iverson apologized for his actions but what about the ref? He never apologized or was reprimanded for his actions.

We need to get off the Stern bashing at the moment. The way the Pistons are playing, Stern has nothing to do with!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I for one don't think he has gone far enough.

Maybe to Mars might do it. I am sick of hearing about and from him.
There are a number of things that were relevant when they first came along, but have outgrown their usefulness.

Like I said, I'm no fan of the man and his way of doing business.

Hopefully he will continue to meddle and interfere, until the game is compromised enough that the owners have to embrace someone new, and perhaps someone with fresh ideas/perspective.

To Stern, the fans and players are just cattle.

And if you want to believe that I have some land you might be interested in.

Stern knows exactly who pays his salary. The owners. Figure it out boys and girls, Stern is the face of the owners and is paid to take the heat for them. Getting mad at him just buys into the game.
