Have Pistons signed Dale Davis?

The wait makes me think that it is going to be Magloire. I didn't know that we had to wait for his waivers to clear.

They should thumb wrestle for it.

Sounds like Magliore is being heavily recruited by Jason Kidd and the Mavs.

I'd rather have DD than Magliore. He can play spot minutes on Dwight and KG and hopefully get under their skin. And as a bench center, that's really all he should need to do...

His avgs pale in comparison to Davis' 1.8ppg/1.9rpg and 1.8ppg/3.0rpg his last two stellar years.

Wouldn't you like a guy who could actually be effective?

What's your problem Low? He's as Ben Wallace-like as we're gonna get.

He was by far our best defensive player last year and was a big net + on the court.

Do you have reason to believe his skills deteriorated since then?


Remember the goon squad? That wasn't luck.

Maybe the Goon Squad could play together more than just 1 game this time.

The Good Squad was awesome. I loved that game.

The guy averaged less than 2 pts per game in 10.8 minutes per game with Jason "Look at Kenyon Martin's stats!" Kidd as his PG. The guy is useless.

Just think if the Goon Squad and the Zoo Crew join forces! The Zoon Squew.

Let's go old school on the league and let DD bring some of that bad boys flavor. Just because we are #1 in the league on defense doesn't mean that we can't get better.

He's considerably less useless than Dale Davis and that's OK by me.

Well, he's still a fantastic, very smart positional defender, and quite strong, even if he can't move his feet as quickly as he used to.

But, even if it's a little unfair, I do love the picture - Shaq clenching his jaw, restraining himself from laying him out. It's the little things like getting under your opponent's skin that DD will do better than Magloire - even better than Magloire did before he went AWOL 3 years ago.

Magloire signed with Dallas tonight.
