So AA will get to start.

So much for that theory that Flip won't play the young guys. After all, he could start Hunter.

    :hoops:

It's nothing serious, not an injury. So that's good news.

That's a legit reason I guess. Gotta make sure the Pistons' starting shooting guard in the year 2030 gets off to a good start.

Without Rip we are hurting big time.

We won tonight, but the Heat without Wade are horrible.

I think we shot something like under 30% when you take away the dunks. Not only is Rip our best mid-range shooter but he makes everyone else on the floor so much better.

You don't have to guard Murray and AA won't be guarded until he shows he can score in the NBA.

I don't know how rusty Rip will be tomorrow but him just being in the lineup will make everyone else's offensive game that much better.

    :hoops:

We'll be fine. How often can we win and look good when w/o Hunter, Amir, Stuckey, Rip and getting less than nothing from Dyess.

Hopefully Rip's family situation wasn't too bad, and maybe the game will be a pleasant mental distraction for him. Few teams are going to have as good of matchups for Lewis and Howard as we do with Tay and Sheed.

Get Nazr (who I'm not a fan of) in the Starting Lineup because Dyess looked drunk or under a spell or something starting...

Why don't we load up Dyess on the low block anymore? That was so freaking $ under LB in 05'. Let him throw a couple up fakes and get to the line or start his $ turn around from 10' away instead of 16' away.

Nice win, Miami looked like a really explosive team, but not a good fit for coach Riley... Wade will cure a lot of ills though.
