    pretty quiet around here. :hoops:

It's pretty bad when the Heat win and even the people who predicted the Heat are upset about it. :sssh:

Heat defense just to much and the Mavs got nothing from their bench other than Terry and he only hit three of this 10 shots... Barea who had been an x -factor was 1-8 shooting

The big 3 averaged 22 and 9....and if they keep that up, they can sweep as long as the bench can contribute 20+ like they did tonight.

Let's see if the Cola man can make some adjustments...

Well, game 1 didn't go as planned. Dallas has to hit open shots of this isn't going to last too long. Especially if they can't rebound better and if Dirk's injured finger causes him problems.

I did like Chandler's last two plays of the game, the dunk and the foul. Maybe he can instill a little more of a street fighting edge into the team.

Dirks no Kobe, and no champion either if a finger on his off hand is going to be the reason for every missed shot.

I looked at the numbers from the last time these two met in the Finals- it was very close.

That was an interesting game. Bron bron was impressive and all that, but it was Wade that made the key plays down the stretch. That block on Marion was really impressive.

For the most part, the officiating was not too bad, but LeBron got away with a lot of things even though he had accumulated 4 fouls by the end of regulation. There was one towards the end where he plowed through Terry while trying to contest a 3-pt shot. That was a blatantly obvious foul that would've put Terry on the FT for three shots and land LeBron with his 5th foul, but alas no call.

Marion played great. Everybody else's shot was off on the Mavs' side. I suspect they're going to come out a lot better next game which is a must-win for them.

Haslem was very impressive on the evil side.

BTW, people rip on Tyson Chandler all the time, how he's an overpaid stiff and all that. But the dude can catch and finish. He's the anti-Kwame.

It was also great to see these old dudes on the Mavs team just diving for loose balls and sacrificing their bodies. They want it more than the Heat and are playing their hearts out.

The next game I'm going to watch with the sound muted. Listening to JVG et al was nauseating. At one point they went on and on about how smart LeBron is because he doesn't complain to the officials at all and rarely whines about the way the game is officiated. Arrrgh. Then they went on to say how he's the best defender the game has ever seen, and how he can defend positions 1-through-5 like none before him. Sure players like Pippen were good, but LeBron is at a whole 'notha level defensively. :puke:

Wade had a pretty mediocre overall game measured in Wade standards imo. Not as bad as the games against Chicago but still not up to his high standards. He filled up the boxscore nicely but looked passive during large spells of the game and took plays off on the defense. He had a few flashes of brilliance though and looked better in the latter parts of the game. I think the rumoured shoulder injury from the end of game 5 against Boston affects him quite a bit.

Although the Heat D shows better numbers, the Mavs are the best rounded team out
there. I expect everybody's numbers to be down. And if one guy does get free everybody else will be minimized

Yeah Mike Breen and his motley crew of JVG and Mark "mama there's go that man again" Jackson have been doing the finals now for six years.....can't stand it when Breen yells 'Bang" after a three ball. Why cant we go back to the last two Pistons finals where Al Micheals did the play by play?

You may want to tune into ESPN Radio and get Mike Tirico and Hubie Brown's interpretive broadcast.

What are you talking about? I listened to the radio this morning and the Heat are the best defensive team in NBA history!

They are but I think it's time we drop this The Big Two talk and move on by refering to The Big One! It would be perfect for the storyline of this season. To put it in Mad Max words - Three Men Enter, One Man Delivers.

I did always think of them on the same level as the Holy Trinity.

Tied game....are the Heat going to choke this one away?

It's like the Heat has been possessed by the OKC Thunder and all they want to do is shoot threes.

What a game. What a choke job from the Heat.

    Can Dallas really do this?
