Bron has not yet begun to 4th Q.
I think he shows them the starboard side game 5 .
    *
Remember the Pistons last year when we got to the 4th Q tied and they kept blowing it ?
Well now you see 2 teams that can make the stop or hit the dagger 50% of the time against the best competition.
    See how easy it is...

Before Game 4 at Boston, Wade and LeBron discussed the importance of a win over dinner the night before.

Sigh... Remember those days? When beating us was a superstar player's biggest dream?

Exactly right. Fool's gold it is. Game 2 was a fluke. Mavs were only supposed to win 1 game.

Now it is Heat in 6.

Lebron will have a great game. Probably after his teammates start them off. All hail Lebron. The king. Finally shows who he is. Yadda yadda yadda.

I really do not like the NBA right now.

There was just no avoiding this. There are a lot worse people out there than Lebron James. But this crap is shoved right in front of our faces and down our throats.

I wish we could have put the old Bad Boys in a time capsule and have them play this series. And to make sure it was called fairly, we could put Stern back in a time capsule to...uhmmm...how about the Battle of Little Big Horn fighting valiantly at Custers side.

This time The Empire will win and the Jedi will lose. This year is The Empire Strikes Back. Return of the Jedi is not scheduled to come out for at least another year.

    :fight2:

(It sorta feels like it does when Bill Laimbeer or Jammer win a fantasy championship. At least it doesn't happen too often, though).

my complaint isn't at all with who wins or loses this series.... its the media and the league telling us how great this series is....

ummm games with great defense and low scores???? when Detroit did this it was ugly and rules needed to be changed.....

    Sigh....

I just saw the front page of Yahoo. Wow. I'm stunned. Really. Can they really win this thing? Nah.

I'll keep predicting Maverick losses due to superstition. (But I honestly do think the Heat are going to win this thing)

Because the last two games are in Miami, the Heat are still favored to win despite them being down 3-2.

The Pistons were up 3-1 vs the 2004 and the Lakers (magic) still thought the Fakers would pull it out.

Wade was still the man in the end despite sitting out most of the second and third in the locker room. Which means without the custodians hard body foul, the Heat would have probably won this game.

you hate to waste a triple in a loss, but LBJ can't be the man out there when Wade is the facilitator and scoring, distributing and rebounding. The Heat got back into the game when Wade came back in the Mavs were forced to double team and left guys open under the hoop.

Key makes by Mavs in the crunch time won this game and maybe three key missed shots by LBJ will be remembered if the Heat do indeed lose this series.

All of a sudden the heat can't close out games....again...lets see what happens on Sunday because the team that wins Game 6 will win the championship...:)

It happen last year with those darn Lakers down 3-2 and it happen in 88 when those show time Lakers were down 3-2 beat my beloved bad boys. :yellowprison:

I can't believe that Dirk has more rebounds than Chandler in the series.

I keep expecting Dirk to fail, and he just doesn't. He's playing the best basketball of his career. Even if the evil threesome end up hoisting the trophy, it's been a joy to watch this dude.

I don't understand why LeBron plays so timid in the 4th.

Dirk's the man, but Chandler and Marion are the unsung heroes of this Mavs.

If the Mavs end up winning it all, I'd be the happiest for Carlisle.

Now the Heat are one Mavs failed possession away from fishing.

Last night was the first game in which the Mavs hit the open shows early and kept on hitting them.

    Go Mavs!

Great game. The Vegas line is currently Miami -6 which translates to a 70.0% chance of Dallas winning the series. Vegas outperforms the best statistical prediction models year after year so it's pretty reliable. The Basketball Reference has them at a 64% chance of winning with their Finals Series Probability predictor.

Cliffs: Dallas are as of now big favourites to win it all. No need to play the games.

Riley should have signed this Dirk-Stopper when he had the chance.
