    C: T. Chandler, K. Brown
    PF: C. Bosh, A. Johnson
    SF: H. Turkoglu, W. Sharpe
    SG: R. Hamilton, A. Afflalo
    PG: R. Stuckey, W. Bynum

#1) Trade for Chris Bosh. He is twenty-five, and he is THE premiere power forward in the nba. He's the closest thing there is to the next Tim Duncan. The Pistons are not going to be able to sign Kobe, LeBron, D-Wade, etc., so Bosh is the best man out there for us to build a team around. I have heard that the Raptors would be interested in something like Prince and Maxiel, so let's get it done.

#2) Sign Hedo Turkoglu. In trading for Chris Bosh we address our biggest problem - inside scoring, in signing Turkoglu to replace Prince we address our second biggest problem - outside shooting. He's not going to demand a max contract, but he should. He, not Dwight Howard or Rashard Lewis, might be the best overall player on the Orlando Magic.

#3) Trade for Tyson Chandler. The Hornets made it clear last season that they are more or less willing to GIVE him away to save money. If he's healthy, I think we should take him on. He's an athletic seven footer that boards, blocks shots and has a nice little game around the rim. Most importantly, however, he plays with ENERGY!!! That is what this team needs down low, the anti-Sheed.

    #4) get a real coach!!!

*p.s. - I do not know what the details of the Chandler trade would be, so I did not include them in my little depth chart. Dumars is going to have a lot of draft picks to replace whoever is lost anyways!?

Not to bad except, we need a bonafide backup SF especially since Turk is not known for his defense, we need a defensive stopper to back him up.

Wouldn't Chris Bosh's presence make up for any defensive short comings some of the other guys might have?

Remember, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce weren't known as great defenders until KG got there and Tay was known for his defensive prowess when Ben and anti-Chandler were behind him.

I think we should trade Rip for Kobe and Tay for Lebron. Then trade Amir for Howard and trade Curry for Phil Jackson.

I haven't been that impressed with Jackson for a while. I guess having multiple stars is his thing, but I'd prefer Pop.

DET started Max and Dyess the last time they played the Raptors and Bosh did not post up one time. I'm not exaggerating, there literally was not one time he went into the post and called for the ball.

    Nice idea blueadams.
Umm, yes to the idea, but I think you are exaggerating Bosh a bit. The next Tim Duncan? No way he's that good. But, he is one of the best players in the league at the 4 and his youth makes him attractive.
I agree that he's key to Magic's success. I'd love to see Hedo here, but he needs to understand that he's not the primary ball handler. With big guys protecting the rim, his defensive deficiencies may not be too big of a problem. As a matter of fact, his biggest defensive liability is not 1:1 defense but pick-n-roll defense when the opposing team switches. During the Boston series, Pierce and Ray Allen would switch and Allen always got nice looks because Hedo couldn't keep up with Allen.
I'd take Chandler over Kaman as well. Especially if we land a PF like Bosh who likes to shoot long jumpers. Camby would work too, but I like the fact that Chandler is younger.

Adding a player like Ariza to the bench would be icing on the cake, although I don't think he'd want to leave LA.

The team needs a new identity. QUICK, let's trade for the "Rue Paul of NBA big men"!

Turkgolu is not going anywhere. Neither is Ariza. Chandler presents a risky trade option at best and would eat up way too much cap space for what he his worth with his bum toe (2yrs left on his deal?). Kaman is the same but with a longer contract and perhaps less game.

I'm beginning to think that it might be best to simply not field a team next year.

    ...Don't sign anybody.
    ...Don't trade anybody.
    ...Let everybody's contracts expire.
    ...Don't even play next season.
