    Starting lineup next season?

    C: T. Chandler
    PF: C. Bosh
    SF: T. Prince
    SG: M. Redd
    PG: R. Stuckey

It almost seems TOO SIMPLE, but I think it's realistic, and I think that it could lead to several nba titles...starting next season, perhaps? The Raptors are looking to trade Chris Bosh because he's going to be leaving as a free agent, and I've heard that they might be interested in something like Rip or Tay, Max or Amir and our 1st round pick - no problem. The Bucks and Hornets are both in serious financial trouble and are basically looking to GIVE AWAY big contracts for expiring ones. Might need to work some sign and trades here to get it all under the cap, but its very possible.

Bosh addresses our biggest problem, the lack of an inside scorer. Redd addresses our second biggest problem, the lack of an outside shooter. And Chandler addresses our third biggest problem, the lack of an interior defender/rebounder. This team could be very, very good. Next to Tayshaun, who's a solid role player, this team would be very young, and very hungry. Stuckey could run the fast-break more with bigs like Chandler and Bosh. There would be more energy. We'd play better defense. We'd get more boards. We'd have more scoring options, etc. etc. etc.

Chandler has very poor healthy,if we could have CPaul adding chandler, other scenario will be a steal to hornets deal Chandler or stojakovic to other team. His contract is same chauncey Billups in salary year...Any other player will be cheaper(no injured will play more games playing 100% every game in regular seasson or play offs).

If Tyson Chandler & Michael Redd didn't have such bad contracts

hence, the sign and trade. The Bucks/Hornets resign Redd/Chandler to a longer and more reasonable contract, and then trade Redd/Chandler to the Pistons for shorter and even more reasonable contracts.

Chandler and Redd aren't free agents, what do you mean by saying resign them?

as in, restructuring their contracts...extending them...many players involved in "sign & trades" are not free agents.

No player will agree to the suggestion "would you like to make less money over a longer period?"

    genius -

say you are getting paid 15mil/season for the next two seasons. You probably wont get paid more than 5/season after that. For the next 5 seasons you could stick with your team...get 30 mil from them, 15 mil over the next three seasons, making it 45 mil total over 5 yrs.

Say the Pistons offer to pay you 10 mil over 5 seasons in this "sign and trade." that's 50 mil over 5 yrs. 5 more. less money, longer contract, MORE MONEY.

    Because it is:
    • Chandler is overpriced and damaged goods.
    • Bosh is in love with his jumper and will never be able to spell the word POST.
    • Tay is gone, unless of course JD is out to prove to everyone, before the season starts, that he is tanking this season.
    • Redd will cost you an inflated 16 mil and at age 29 is slowing down. Makes AI look like Bowen.
    • Stuckey will never carry this club as a PG.
