McDyess sucked at Arnie's wall test.
Behind the scenes with Chauncey Billups during his return to the Pistons (VIDEO) | ProBasketballTalk
Pistons might keep Chauncey Billups around after this season… in the front office | ProBasketballTalk Detroit Pistons to offer Chauncey Billups front office job?
Calderon is gone. Just a cap move. If you liked McDyess, good for you. If he could play D, I guess I might have liked him being here. As an organization, we failed to motivate Memo into staying here, and we traded away Corliss Williamson for cap space. In their replacement, we got McDyess. Less depth. Less defense. A lot less inside scoring. Etc. Just a lot less. We still managed to almost wins that 2nd straight title though, so you could certainly argue that McDyess was good enough. And oh, we did not retain the services of Campbell either, so McDyess was really replacing 3 guys. In all, a very poor strategy by the GM. And it failed. We lost game 7 directly because we did not have enough bigs to cover Duncan. Directly from what Dumars did in losing 3 players and replacing them with just McDyess. You could throw some blame at the coach, for not minimally preparing Darko to play that year. I do. I saw Darko cover Duncan just fine after he was sent packing from Detroit. Some think Darko could not have done a thing to stop Duncan. But who we used, Prince, had not a chance in the universe.
We still don't know who loosed those players. Detroit had no chance against Dallas[Calderon]. Not Dumars fault. What about that Fab Five guy that was over the hill ? Just a little to late on most. I hope we stomp the "S" out of Dallas, next time we see him !
Chauncey Billups has point to prove in return to the Pistons - Yahoo! Sports
Article is titled "Chauncey Billups has point to prove..." Then they quote Chauncey as: Talk about a misleading headline. Also, if I were Chauncey, I'd probably keep quiet about how he made the current Piston GM apologize for trading him in the first place. Bad form.
Yeah TaS those 4 years went by sooo fast.
Joe could had wholeheartedly apologized to CB the moment when the traded was made, the latest mentioned apology was just something happened in the past which was still fresh in CB's mind.

And, this shall be forever. But, please notice a somewhat opportune time for JD to show some piety.
