High school student intentionally misses free throws

    saw that on mike and mike this morning.. while my thoughts go out to the poor kid for the lose of his mother, the night turned into an example of what sports is suppose to be about. Life lessons were learned by all and the "kids" seem to get what sports is about alot more then many overpaid professional "adults".

    The ref should have just asked the other coach if he was cool with waiving that rule off when the kid showed up.

    from the account i saw, the coach told the refs they didn't want the tech called... the refs forced the issue

    That's what I mean. That guy should go count beans somewhere. What a weirdo.

    (I heard that the other refs were pretty cool and one was a rules stickler).
