That can shoot 50% from the floor and 75% from the free line and defend the paint....
A panda walks into a restaurant, sits down, and orders a sandwich. He eats the sandwich, pulls out a gun, and shoots the waiter dead. As the panda stands up to go, the manager shouts, "Hey, where are you going? You just shot my waiter and you didn't pay for your sandwich!" The panda yells back at the manager, "Hey, man, I'm a PANDA! Look it up!" The manager opens his dictionary and sees the following definition for panda: "A tree-dwelling marsupial of Asian origin, characterized by distinct black and white coloring. Eats shoots and leaves."
What is the humor level designation for this thread?
Based on that joke, using a logarithmic scale from 0 to Charlie Garbage firing 3's, I think it falls around the 'Joe Dumars trading for Corey Maggette' mark
UConn player says some nights he goes to bed ‘starving’ | MyFOX8.com Shabazz stock will go up based on his tourney play...... Once he starts "eating" he will bulk up and be an even better player in the NBA. LeBron James Believes Shabazz Napier Is Best Point Guard in 2014 NBA Draft | Bleacher Report
I got high expectations for Dante Exum. And I consider him a Sg, not a pg. So Napier goes for the title for "best PG in draft" against Marcus Smart, Tyler Ennis, and who else?
Why is Dante not a PG?
I know he is, but I think he could be playing minutes at SG too. Don't get me wrong Panda, I love what I've seen from Exum. I'm really high on this kid.
I was just wondering why you think he should play at SG. He seems to be a fairly good build/have the right skillset to play the point. Don't know if I would trip over myself trying to take him top 5 though
I'm not saying he should, I'm saying he could. I'm saying he has that ability. One of the negative things some scouts say about him is that sometimes he get loose with the ball and stuff like that. But on the positive side, he also has the abilty to find open teammates. I think he is a top 5 player in this draft and will become one of the best PG, of course, if he ends up being a PG in the nba and not spending most time at the SG spot. (That may be decided if a team with a well suited PG draft him or a team lacking a PG draft him). Maybe Smart would have a better beginning in the NBA than Exum, but a the long term, I bet Exum will be better. (Of course, just my thoughts and beliefs)
I dunno about Exum. I've watched him play a few times and he doesn't really wow me that much. Not saying that he isn't a solid player and a strong prospect, just that he doesn't scream superstar. Everyone seems to have him as a top 5 player in this draft but I really just don't see it. Every now and again there was a play which make me go 'wow' but they seemed to far apart. I would be luke warm on the idea of using a top 5 pick on him. I've always thought the biggest attribute of a potential nba player is instinct and I don't think he has it.
I wouldn't draft Dante....
I respect your opinions, let's make it interesting: 1) Who would you draft if you have the 3rd pick and you are the new GM of the Detroit Pistons? (Put it in order) In example: 1) Wiggings (if not available), 2)Parker, (If not available) 3)Embiid. 2) (Same question but with the 8th pick, so, name 8 players) 3) Which PG do you think will have the best career in the nba? (Put it in order) In example: 1) Marcus Smart, (If not available) 2) Dante Exum, (if not available) 3) Shabazz Napier 4)Tyler Ennis 4) If Shabazz Napier does not get drafted in the lottery, you, as a basketball fan, will be: (Very Angry, Angry, Indifferent, Glad, Super Happy)
1) Wiggins - Parker - Randle. 2) Wiggins - Parker - Randle - Smart - Embiid - Exum - Gary Harris 3) I don't know enough about the later guys to guess this. I think Smart will have a good career, Exum should as well. I just don't think either will be stars. 4) He won't get drafted in the lottery. And I won't care.
Also, Napier is pretty much the same size as Isaiah Thomas. Is he so much better than he deserves to be a lottery pick?
I asked to name 8, you named 7 ! lol
Sorry I forgot Vonleh
Well, May 20 is the next big date for the Pistons. This is the lottery selection date.
I think they should make Joe represent the team at the lottery. Time to start earning that salary.
