1. Football Picks Survivor is done for 2014. Congrats to billlaimbeer from The Pistons Forum

If we resign Monroe and let Stuckey/Charlie V go how much will we have in the off-season?

I think it's the most glaring hole on this team. Chandler in that position turns us into a REALLY good team.

And even though he's been in the league for 6 years, he's only 1 year older than Singler.

He's no Kris Middleton. Have you seen that guy's +/- stats for the Bucks? Outrageous. We should really figure out how to acquire Middleton.

I am still in the camp (perhaps alone) that we need to see what Datome can give us. He's dirt cheap on the roster right now.

I don't disagree with that sentiment at all. Chandler is just one of those guys that IF you could get him....then GET HIM!

Let's aim higher that Wilson Chandler (assuming Pizza Guy isn't the next Luol Deng).

What is our most glaring hole? Here is what we currently look like for the next 3 seasons:

    Position 2013/14 2014/15 2015/16
    PG Jennings/Billups Jennings/Billups Jennings
    SG KCP KCP KCP
    SF Smith/Singler Smith/Singler Smith
    PF Monroe/Smith Monroe/Smith
    C Drummond/Monroe Drummond/Monroe Drummond

    Bench WB/JJ/PG/Siva/TM WB/JJ/PG/Siva/TM TM

PG: Jennings should be a solid starter. We have a boatload of backups with Billups, Bynum, and Siva
SG: KCP is really our only true shooting guard. He looks very promising, but he is a rookie and we have no depth at that spot.
SF: Smith is very solid at the 3 spot, but when Monroe or Drummond sit, then who is the backup? Singler?
PF/C: Between our big 3, we are pretty strong at these two positions.

Shooting guard is still our most glaring hole. I thought Pizza Guy (PG) might even fill in here once in a while, but Cheeks talks about using him at PF recently. As of now, we will be playing point guards and small forwards at this spot, assuming that Stuckey goes away soon.

There is no "higher" than Wilson Chandler, maybe Corey Brewer and Matt Barnes...but you have to remember we're talking about a guy to bring off the bench and play 20-25 mpg. Chandler is the best in the league at filling that specific specialty role.

And Chandler is a guy that plays the SG and SF spot!

How about his attitude? I like a guy with plenty of fight in him.

Is there any way the Pistons can re-sign Monroe and bring back Stuckey and Charlie?
