    C: Marc Gasol, Noah, Davis
    PF: Griffin, Kevin Love
    SF: Durant, George
    SG: Ginobili, Dragic
    PG: Stephen Curry, Tony Parker

*I'm making two adjustments to my team. 1) I'm replacing Korver with Rondo. 2) I'm replacing Ibaka with Leonard.
    C: T. Duncan, A. Davis, J. Noah
    PF: L. James, D. Nowitzki
    SF: P. George, K. Leonard
    SG: K. Durant, K. Bryant
    PG: C. Paul, T. Parker, R. Rondo

I'd attack your team as such.
-I like the Duncan on Gasol match-up for me, on both sides of the court. Davis & Noah vs. Davis & Noah = Davis & Noah.
-LeBron could guard Griffin and Love, and abuse both on the other side of the court (or anyone on your squad, George stands the best chance).
-I'd throw the defensive shut-down duo of George and Leonard at Durant to slow him down.
-Durant would abuse Ginobli and Dragic.
-I like the Paul on Curry match-up for me, on both sides of the court, and I'd throw some Rondo at him to slow him down as well. Parker vs. Parker = Parker.

The top 10 career Win Shares per 48 minutes of active players:

    1. Chris Paul .2462
    2. LeBron James .2431
    3. Tim Duncan .2113
    4. Manu Ginobili .2095
    5. Dirk Nowitzki .2080
    6. Kevin Durant .2065
    7. Dwyane Wade .1926
    8. Kevin Garnett .1852
    9. Kobe Bryant .1822
    10. Dwight Howard .1799

If I start the top 5, statistically I have the best team possible. That 2nd unit will kill any 2nd unit. I guarantee it.

    PG - Paul, Wade
    SG - Manu, Kobe
    SF - James, Durant
    PF - Dirk, KG
    C - Duncan, Howard

Though not the point of this particular thread, it is interesting to me to look at the all-time ws/48 leaders..

*Just including one entry per player, at their position played that season, two at each position, and the top extra at two positions:

    The All-Time Single-Season WS/48 Team: i.e. the best primes
    C: K. Abdul-Jabbar, '71-'72 (.3399), W. Chamberlain, '63-'64 (.3251), D. Robinson, '93-'94 (.2960)
    PF: L. James, '12-'13 (.3220), D. Nowitzki, '06-'07 (.2780), K. Garnett, '03-'04 (.2723)
    SF: K. Durant, '12-'13 (.2909), C. Walker, '71-'72 (.2685)
    SG: M. Jordan, '90-'91 (.3211), T. McGrady, '02-'03 (.2617)
    PG: C. Paul, '08-'09 (.2925), O. Robertson, '63-'64 (.2785)

The All-Time Single-Season WS Team: i.e. the best individual seasons (primes?)
    C: K. Abdul-Jabbar, '71-'72 (25.37), W. Chamberlain, '63-'64 (24.98), G. Mikan, '50-'51 (23.43)
    PF: K. Garnett, '03-'04 (18.33), T. Duncan, '01-'02 (17.81), D. Nowitzki, '05-'06 (17.72)
    SF: L. James, '08-'09 (20.25), K. Durant, '12-'13 (18.90)
    SG: M. Jordan, '87-'88 (21.23), B. Feerick, '46-'47 (18.59)
    PG: O. Robertson, '63-'64 (20.65), C. Paul, '08-'09 (18.29)

The All-Time Career WS Team: i.e. the best accumulative contributors of all time (*just putting ppl at their main positions here)
    C: K. Abdul-Jabbar (273.41), W. Chamberlain (247.26), S. O'Neal (181.71)
    PF: K. Malone (234.63), T. Duncan (191.33), K. Garnett (188.39)
    SF: L. James (167.28), L. Bird (145.83)
    SG: M. Jordan (214.02), R. Miller (174.40)
    PG: J. Stockton (207.70), O. Robertson (189.21)

    Thoughts..

#1) No wonder ESPN prefers PER--Michael Jordan isn't the greatest player of all-time; some muslim who hates the media is.
#2) These statistics do seem to favor C's and PF's though (rebounds, blocks)
#3) It's odd how different the best WS/48 and WS seasons turned out..
#4) LeBron. Already the #1 accumulative SF of all-time. Wow. Is he even 30?
#5) Statistics do seem to bring nostalgia to reality~a lot of modern stars among the all-time greats.

The joke being that he's un-marketable to the us media. I guess I don't get what's wrong with it.. As saying "some christian who hates the media" isn't offensive at all.

But whatever. I don't care enough to hear more about it

I don't think he is offended by the fact that you singled out the guy because he is Muslim, but because that is the distinction that you chose to run with. And it's not about being offended or offending people, its about being unnecessarily inflammatory with no purpose.

This forum is, as far as I can tell, filled with members from all around the globe, we all have to try and make it work :)

I see Pizza Guy has an endearing nickname. It's much different than calling people out by their race or religion.

I see it as a stereotype...Kinda like calling a polish person kilbasa guy...or a jewish person Blintz guy.
