Ok, it's officially Darko time with the Pistons. Everybody loves the big man, and we've had a few really good one's. Lanier, Big Bill, and the servicable Edwards with that sweet fade away. But nobody like a Kareem... yet.

Ok, so Darko won't be Kareem, but I have seen him use that hook, and I hope he develops it further. I'm still in the win now camp, and I advocate tough love for Darko, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that I'm very excited about what he can possibly bring to the Pistons.

    Remember...

when John Salley blocked Kareem's shot? :) That was a great Pistons moment. I thought Kareem's shot was unblockable prior to that time. By the way, I find it amazin' how many rings John Salley was able to accumulate in his career without even playing. (Chicago, Lakeers) AMAZING! Maybe he should have given notes to other NBA stars who have tried to latch on to a championship squad unsuccessfully to get that last ring before their career expires (Barkley, Malone, Payton, etc...) :)
