If I learned anything from the last game between these guys it's that Andre Drummond has plenty of fight in him. Hibbert better watch out.

T-30 minutes. Epic battle about to begin! Major win coming up. This performance will make everyone forget about the victory in Miami. This is gonna be one for the books folks. We will be destroying the Pacers*.

    * Unless the coach surrenders to his obsessions and plays Singler.

That shot chart from J-Smoove v. Portland was just what we need from him. I think one way to take Paul George out of the game offensively is to make him work down low on defense.

Impressive. This team is suppose to win a lot this year. Now. The Pistons front line is getting tougher and tougher. Josh has reigned his game in some and is putting a load on defenses. Monroe is getting his touches and boards. And Andre is coming...

I was rooting for the lottery for three years. No more. Enough of that. The Pistons will not be an elite team yet with still many holes, but they should be a load to handle most, most nights.

I sweated that last out of bounds play--out of bounds plays are an adventure on this team. The offense down the stretch still needs a lot of work. Too much "hear you take it and go one on one." A big difference tonight was that Jennings got into the lane. He still didn't finish from the right side but he got into the lane a lot. Did you see how that froze Indiana? They didn't know what to do not wanting to leave our bigs.

The key to this team will be the consistency of its guards play. The front line is maturing week to week and can already create havoc. You get point guards who can get into the lane and the Pistons suddenly become an offensive force even with the sub-NBA standard three point shooting.

Recite ye now the Saint Crispin speech of Henry V!
The pistons turned Sundays lemon into todays lemonade with a dash of streak breaking goodness. The refs had Las Vegas bookies in their earpiece as they did their best to make phantom calls all over the place. But the Bad Boys, Going to Work Crew, Come Together kids fought hard as nails behind Josh Smith. Who did we have last season?? Jason Maxiell. Proves eating babies doesn't win games.
Its still an upward climb but they hung in there with some of the best. Sit back in your lazy boy recliner and dream up SF additions or trades. Lean forward and yell profanity at Jennings And-1 style in crunch time. BJ - you know nothing of the crunch! We're getting there guys! Its coming together. For me, its good to see them developing as a group.

We need to make a t-shirt. What about Jennings going 1 on 5 with that tag line...

Great win tonight....makes you wonder if they knew they gave it away last night and had to redeem themselves. Good win vs the so called best team and within the division. Pacers had not lost at home this year so it was good to beat them and hold them under 100...because that is when the Pistons win....first time we had beaten them on their floor since 2008.

Jorts came in and gave major contributions in the first half with Dre in immediate foul trouble. 7points and 9 boards and probably his first professional TV halftime interview.

Pistons took a 6 point lead into the 4th, and extended to 10, but could not shake the Pacers as somebody forgot to cover Scola as he scored 12 of his 18 points in the 4th quarter. I suspect that Singler was trying to cover him........but they buckled down and frustrated the Pacers especially on the boards and pulled it out.

Out rebounded them by 15, had only 8 turns and after large FT descrepancy in the first half, can back aggressive in the second half finished the game with 1 more total FT's than the home team.

Once again, JSmoove was the principle point man but he took 29 shots to get 30 points....Jennings didn't blow it down the stretch this time and Stuckey who was 1-5 shooting was no where to be found when Piston nation was sweating it out more than the players for the second night in a row.

Both teams shot 42.3% from the floor. Josh's 25 two point shot attempts may not have been efficient, but it makes the defense pay attention. Must open up other guys against a great defensive team. 1 turnover by Jennings against IND is masterful.
