A couple of solid articles from the DetNews this AM. It feels like the Pistons finally have more than a scarecrow patrolling the sidelines.

I heard somewhere that Pistons' Andre Drummond has plenty of fight in him. Think it's true?

I'm not sure how that happened. I think Roscoe is specifically targeting me.

Got to see the game. Gotta love where this team is going. Some observations:
Love the ball pressure from everyone. Its a far cry from the passive/reactive D of Frank's era.
The Smith-Drummond-Monroe frontline works. The problem is the sub par guard play.
Jennings isn't that great. He's better than Knight but that isn't saying much. Bynum is the best guard we have but he's a spark plug at best.

Gigi played well. He's aware of his defensive position and didn't make too many mistakes. Like singler, he'll play smart position basketball but doesn't have that extra athleticism to make a ton of spectacular defensive plays.
The changes in the offseason have been mostly good but the glut of lame guards is something that needs to be address. I would rather see KCP out there but who is going to sit?

Drummond looked like a vet giving Hibbert a hard time every minute. He's picking up the big and small things at a good clip.

At least now we're not looking at tea leaves to divine some hope out of this. We need to hit jump shots. There.

If he was mad then he better get used to it.

That has to be my favorite quote from a Piston player ever!

Jennings has missed a lot of time. It isn't right for us to expect him to be going full bore yet.

He does have to walk a fine line though between feeding the front line and being ready to carry them when their going gets tough.

Thanks for the articles. They were good, some of them were a little repetitive, though.
