Stop it, Roscoe. Don't burst that bubble.
I can handle a lot of speculation that I don't think is founded, but the amnesty thing, it's unbearable.
I know exactly what you mean. Joe always said that he is not in business of throwing away "assets" (at least they are in his mind).
Like I always say, if it ain't rough it ain't right.
...throwing away asseTs is more like it.
Looks like we have some jersey numbers:
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: #5
Tony Mitchell: #9
Peyton Siva: #34
Man Joe is looking rougher by the day.
Kentavious will have his hands full trying to top some of the former Piston greats to wear #5:
Darrell Walker (1992-1993)
Charles O'Bannon (1998-1999)
Jermaine Jackson (2000)
Billy Owens (2001)
Rodney White (2002)
Danny Manning (2003)
Bob Sura (2004)
Horace Jenkins (2005)
Maurice Evans (2006)
Walter Herrmann (2008-2009)
Austin Daye (2010-2013)
Tony Mitchell has no idea what his number is.
Jersey #9 hasn't really torn it up recently:
Jackie Robinson (1980)
Lionel Hollins (1984)
Walter Bond (1995)
Litterial Green (1997)
Kornel David (2001)
Victor Alexander (2002)
Jarvis Hayes (2008)
Chris Wilcox (2010-2011)
Damien Wilkins (2012)
Every Piston to ever wear #34:
John Shumate (1978-1980)
James Wilkes (1983)
Jim Johnstone (1983)
Jim Zoet (1983)
Ken Austin (1984)
Sidney Lowe (1985)
Fennis Dembo (1989)
Olden Polynice (1993)
Pete Chilcutt (1994)
Corliss Williamson (2001-2004)
Dale Davis (2006-2007)
Joe looks like he's put on some more weight.
...whatever happened to Trent Plaisted anyways?
OMG! - Joe ate Trent Plaisted!
Why is Rerun standing with these guys?
Tony Mitchell has that angry gaze of, 'Crap, I got # 6. WTF?'
Is it me or does Pope look almost as tall as Tony Mitchell? Is Pope that tall or Mitchell that short. Does it really look like a 3 inch difference?
He looks about 6" shorter.
Pre-draft height without shoes from the NBA Combine:
Most draft scouting reports:
Unless KCP grew over the last month, I'd say a 3-inch difference is probably accurate.
Time for "captioned this" scene
"Hey, let us look at your national championship ring or we'll mess up your hair with our monster-size hands."
Rerun always smiles. JD only smiles when he leaves the office for home.
