The first thing I should do when I join a fantasy league, is ask the Commish to ban me from making trades.

In "open" this year, I traded Slippy last season's 6MOY for Marvin Williams, who promptly got injured.

And last night, I traded Ben Gordon for Rudy Gay, who also got injured.

Sandwiched in there, was a trade of Francisco Elson and Chris Webber for....

you guessed it, injured David West and Hakim Warrick.

David west's injury is minor - like hamiltons. Webber's injury is permanent... like darko

still, it made him missing 2 games for my squad- I haven't done any trade this far and reading Roscoe's post confirmed me in doing so. It's very difficult to find trade scenarios from which both can gain profit.

david west was injured before that trade went through. you could have canceled.

you're trying to play the sympathy angle. or you're trying to buy low on injured guys who will come back and pretending you're just an unknowledgable owner. that tactic won't work buddy.

    stop being a whinger.

just something to talk about. the other injury was probably more substantial.

I'm not complaining. People who played with me last year know that I tried to build an all injury team and I got some flack for that.

But it's mostly my terrible decision making.

Just something to shoot the breeze over between complaining about Flip/Joe/Flip/Sheed/CB/Tay/Rip/Delfino.

    lol.

Both of my teams are injury prone. :crutch: So excuse me while I tank in both leagues until they recover.

No real free agent out there to pickup and hopefully these guys are back in the next week or so.

Advanced> I have Shaq, Tyson Chandler and now Rudy Gay injured wiping out two of my 3 centers. Shaq has only played in 4 games

Open League> Richard Jefferson and Charlie Villanueva are both out & RJ has only played in 4 games so far.

you should know full well what to expect with snaq before drafting him. no sympathy there.
i drafted gasol, and i reckon he'll play more games than shaq by the end of the season. no doubt!

roscoe: only winding you up. can you trade for flip saunders so he gets injured too?

That's not what i heard. I heard West injury was nerve related and that he can't move fingers and lift his arm very well. Not good.:gun1:

    ARGH!

Rudy Gay is injured right? So the guy I am giving him up for? He just scored 30 odd points tonight.

    This is ridiculous.

But as usual, I score a great player in Mikael Pietrus in FA.

I swear, if I ever learn not to make any trades, I will probably win one of these darn leagues.

Yeah Little Ben got off tonight and almost brought the Bulls all the way back from that 21 pts deficit. Is he back or was he just in a zone tonight???

Well, I am finally getting killed for not staying on top of my lineups. How I can go from leading in all 3 of my leagues to getting whupped badly by Sunday night, well lemme tell ya, it takes a special man to be beaten so soundly by a myriad of opponents. :(

Kudos to Ralphi in the Sleeper League. He's really getting the hang of this.

ralphi also picked up your boy pietrus in the novice league after i dropped him. i may regret the quick decision, but he was benched the previous game and biedrins has been eating his minutes. of course, i did the same thing dropping millsap because ak47 came back and he had a few games with not many minutes, but last night i coulda used his 22 points and several stat stuffers in other categories.
