I posted this last week in the Bizzaro stories thread and someone kind of dropped a hint that RJ may be more interested in some of the Spurs players than his cheerleader fiance'. :stirthepot: ..not that there is anything wrong with that*.

Ms Nichols will provide her side of the story on Good Morning America tomorrow morning. Stay tuned as this one is growing legs 10 days after the fact

    *an old Seinfeld reference

Well...better to do this than to go though the wedding knowing your BS'ing.

Apparently he told the fiancee the day before, so she was able to call her friends and family and tell them it was off. He just didn't get around to telling his boys until a couple of hours before. But he still let them party on his dime, so I guess they still had a good time.

Is she still a Nets cheerleader? Wonder what will happen at the Nets/Spurs game.

I don't know why this story is still a big deal. If RJ felt it was not right and was willing to pay 2million to avoid a mistake then who are we to judge?

As for RJ being more interested in the talent in San Antonio. No comment. :pound: Who knows. We all remember those allegations by Jason Kidd's ex in her divorce filling about the unnamed New Jersey Net closet.

There are pictures of her out with her friends partying the same night w/ Tyrese LOL.

I say good for her if she was broken up about it, no point in moping, then again she didn't look too broken up about it.

    I find it interesting he gave her a 6 figure settlement . . .

She is no longer Nets dancer...I checked out their site and she was no where to be found.

He not only called off the wedding, but broke up with her too. When that happens something happen that made him have second thoughts and he decided to cut his losses early...

Maybe he found out all his endorsement deals would be voided if he moved to Texas or got married, so canceled the option that wasn't paying him...:sssh:

Lets just hope he had fun while it lasted....yeahhhh ...he probably did.:)

Yes and at least everyone was allowed to eat, party and have a good time. But for the bride, a real downer.

Not to, uh, make assumptions or anything, but if there is something to hide then it's bound to come out sooner or later.

These rumors have been going on an awfully long time.

So I was a little bit blown away about spending $2 million on a wedding. I mean I could probably retire on that! But then I got to thinking...

According to ESPN.com, RJ will make $13.2 million this year. That means that the wedding, cost him about 15% of his salary this year. That's a nice chunk, but what about the rest of us?

According to theknot.com (Q&A: Wedding Money: What Does the Average Wedding Cost? - By TheKnot.com) the average wedding costs about $27,800. So how much do you make? I'd imagine that most of us spend a lot more than 15% annual salary on our weddings. I know I did, even though our wedding was less than the quoted number.

Of couse RJ spent that amount to not only not get married, but he didn't even show up to party with his buddies! :pound:

Next time RJ if you are going to flush $2 million down the drain, I will send you my address...

The girl said that the wedding cost $500K and that it wasn't all spent yet.
