watching the pregame for the football game tonight, and i just want to throw things at my tv listening to the expert MM talking about what it takes to win....

I know when I want to win who I go to for advice.... nothing like asking the worst GM of all time I would say in any sport... and to get a job so fast...

makes me just turn the tv, i'd rather listen to Britney Spears tell me about football.

When they were picking their winners I was thinking to myself that if I were on that show and had to pick I'd wait for MM to make his and just pick the opposite. I'm being dead serious here, not trying to be funny.

OK, OK, Ok, in all fairness, before MM was hireed to run the Lions, he was indeed a pretty good analyst, I really liked the guy, liked him so much that when the Lions hired him I was pretty stoked about it. I remember when he called a Scott Mitchell a bonehead QB, during his days in the booth, which was also a time when the most hated person in Detroit was Scott Mitchell.

I agree with the Mitchell is a bonehead statement.

Maybe a guy can be good as an analyst and terrible as a GM.

the whole thing has made me just think most announcers and analyst are no smarter then most fans... just full of hot air and like to hear themselves act smart.

On the other hand its also made me respect the good GM's around the league Football and other sports. (Joe and the like) that have put out good teams over the years, we may not agree with them all the time.... But for us to think we can walk into there shoes and do the job as good or better.... were just fooling ourselves.
