Kareem Rush shot 40% from beyond the arc as a Laker in 2004. The 5 game sweep of the Lakers wasn't his fault.

Although his time as a Piston was short lived, it was enough time to speculate about where he would fit in with the lineup, how much the Pistons could use a deadly three point shooter, how clueless the coach was to cut him, and any number of speculative conversations.

Oh yeah, he's also a mediocre singer.

It was great to see him in the Palace holding down the Laker bench during the 04 sweep. If Rush had played instead of an aging Gary Payton, the series may have gone 7...:bow1:

Of the training camp invites, Kareem Rush certainly had one of the best basketball names.

I guess Coach Frank just wanted to go in a different direction.

Anyone can see that having a deadly 3 point shooter will help open up the lane for Rodney Stuckey. By cutting Rush, Frank has pretty much insured that Rodney will have to repeat his Rookie year again.

    Off the Frank bandwagon.

I agree. Gordon's just not at the same level.
