Tough break for Boston, though Cleveland was probably going to be the favorite to come out of the East no matter what.

Nah, they can still take the Bulls. The Bulls have no one to guard either Pierce or Allen.

It is truly pathetic that we couldn't beat the Bulls when we needed to. We set our selves up to play a team that is 40-1 in their building this year with God's gift to the NBA playing for them when we could have gone against an injured Boston team or an Orlando team that we match up well against.

Or Indiana or Miami or NJ or Philly (basically the only game they won down the stretch).

    This makes me very angry!

IF we woulda finished in the 7-spot and played the Celts and IF we woulda beat em'; we woulda had to hear all of the "but KG was injured" crap.

...let someone deal with that BS!

    (man that woulda been SWEET!!!!!!!)

If you think about though had they won it would have been without CB or a body in his place.

I'm so angry!!! (Not Really But) We could have easily beaten the Celtics without KG.

This is what laying an egg is truly about.

This is beyond frustrating. Like mentioned; BOS/ORL/ECF :rant2:

Damn Curry and his coaching decisions.

Damn the stupid 8 game losing streak it took to change the rotation.

And IMO CHI isn't going to beat them regardless.

BubbaChuck is still an important part of the 13-man roster.
As that article that someone posted earlier mentioned, the Pistons would not be eligible for the playoffs with only 12 guys (although, I suppose they could have sighed Rufus Henry again).

IMO - he's making his most significant contribution of the season right now!

Hopefully he can pull himself away from the casino buffet and long enough to accept his championship ring in June.

Actually Chicago has a good chance to beat a KG-Less Celtics.

They just got to handle Ray and Pierce.

    Two things:

Karma is a %%%%% isn't it KG? Dude won one championship after choking miserabely all these years and he acts like he is the best.

Second thing I don't really care that we didn't get the 7th seed anymore. Lets say we got Bostons hypothetically and lets say we beat Boston hypothetically (I think Paul Pierce would have something against that. Just because they lost KG doesn't mean there team is bad) but lets assume we would have won (let me reitterate how ridiculous that is considering the bad habits our team has developed over the season).

Either way we would still have to go through Cleveland. We would have to beat them in the ECF. So if we pull the upset now in the first round that would make the rest of the EC playoffs much easier. We would most likely have to face an Orlando team that is scared of us and a Boston team that is injured. Either way we have to get past Cleveland so I would rather get them out of the way first so that the team is bursting with confidence.

I agree to the point, but i feel this team is broken mentally right now. If/by the time they get to the ECF, there will be cohesiveness, set rotations, confidence, etc.

They have a much better chance against CLE after a few series and hopefully the Cavs getting beat up a little than they do right off the bat.

CLE is so amped up right now; if the first game isn't a blowout, i'd be shocked.

CLE is too tough right now, and we are too fragile.

Call me crazy but ORL is going to make it to the finals.

BOS won't get past Round 2, and CLE...against the Big 4 (the remaining LAL, BOS, ORL) finished 2-6. We'll see how they react when they finally lose a home game. I bet you, that team that wins that home game won't play the next game like the entitled spoiled underachieving brats like Billups, Rasheed, Rip, or the passive aggressive bullcrap like Tayshaun Prince. Everyone of those Big 3 Eastern teams want blood.

Out of all those teams, ORL looked awesome against all but Boston. We're actually the ONLY team that match up with ORL well. Watch Cleveland's "bigs" get rocked, watch Big Z grab his leg in like Game 2, watch Varejao trying to flop every other possession down the floor, and watch Mo Williams continue to leave his man resulting in a wide open three-ball. And most importantly, watch Mike Brown and the Stan Man get into a 6 or 7 game pissing match witht he referees whenever a call doesn't go their way.

The Magic isn't just some fake gimmick team just because they can't beat us. Ask thwe Laker fans who they DON'T wanna face. Ask Cleveland fans who they don't wanna face. They'll say Orlando.

Laugh now, but I'll bump this in late May, lol.
