they even dressed marbury on fri night... (didn't play though) but thats back to back nights they played 7 deep and the 6 and 7 didn't play much, but looking at the plus/minus those 2 were hurting the team while they were out there.

I think these teams are being very foolish. Most of these free agents are going to re -up with their current teams. The only guy's that are likely to be on the move are LeBron, Bosh and Boozer. LeBron is going to New York, Chicago or LA. The league wants him in a moajor market and LeBron wants to be there to make as much money in endorsements as he can as he wants to be the first athelete billionaire.

Tiger Woods was on track to top $1B by 2010.

The article was written in July and assumed that he's losing 45% of earnings to taxes and management fees and that he will return about 8% on his investments.

Surely, his market investments have been rocked, and his real estate investments as well. So, I would tack another 8 years to the prediction.

I'll bet Woods beats Lebron to it.

I think the knicks are just stupid. If they want lebron, They need to put a winning team there. Lebron will not go to the knicks just to be in NY. He wants to win championships, and I think we all can agree the knicks are not even close right now. If you put lebron on the knicks right now, its a mybe 35-40 win team and thats only if lebron goes nuts the entire season. Why would he leave cleveland for that crap?

People also say lebron can't be a globel icon in cleveland. Well lets see...

2 all-star MVP awards, also I believe he won the sophmore MVP to.

    rookie of the year,

youngest player to do just about everything,

    HIS OWN MUSLIEM IN CHINA!!!!

most well known and richest player in the game,

    07-08 scoring champ,

    gold medal winner,

    hosted the espy's,

    shoe deals,

been in over 20 commercials from sprite to car insurence,

    been to the finals,

On a very good cleveland team right now,

owns and is the king of ohio.

ALLL INNNNNN CLEVELAND!!!!!!!!! so Ya he has done nothing with his life.

I think Lebron realizes that any team he goes to will have a chance to win a championship within 3 years of his arrival. First of all, he'll make them much better, and secondly, bandwagon as@ cats will want to play where he's playing.

If Lebron comes to NY, i might have to move. :pout:

I live in the city and if i run into to him, I'd be temped to tell him that he sucks, and whines like a girl. And besides that, i don't think i can handle the media hysteria that will come along with it.

Also interresting fact I found out about the cavs. The cavs have the most money to spend in 2010, Plus they have bird rights. So what is stopping the cavs from getting bosh, wade etc..? Then lebron would resign there.

Danny Ferry alluded to that. He said instead of teams worry about LBJ, they should worry about us coming after their FA's.

Would be ironic if LBJ decides to stay or go elsewhere besides the Knicks. All this salary dumping for players who may or may not actually sign on the dotted line.

Anyhow I think LBJ will move to Broadway, too much advertising money at stake in the Big City. Cavs can only pay him a salary. Over his career he will probably make a boat load more money in endorsements than actual salary.

But would he win a ring?

Lebron could go as the guy who talent was wasted.

Micheal Jordan was also cocky. Great players who know they are that darn good are bound to have big egos.

Unless you humble guy (which is impossible to find now and days) like Tim Duncan.

So it's Bron or nothing ?
I thing they could do pretty good with other major pieces.
