    Both pronounced the same.

    Are you kidding me?

Is that too cool or what?

It could happen, though even if Koby does make the active roster he will probably be behind Farmar and Crittenton.

Kobe would never tolerate another player who pronounces his name the same. It would steal his thunder................Look for Kobe and Dennis (Koby) to possibly play together............:pound:

After signing Fisher it is a long shot that Coby, I think that is the correct spelling, will make the team as he is a free agent and with Fisher the Lakers now have the following guards.

    Kobe
    Fisher
    Crittenton
    Vujacic
    Farmar

However I believe with the signing of Fisher they have only 13 under contract for the year. If they wind up resigning Mihm it would be 14. So it is possible that they could sign Coby and put him on a D league team.

How many point guards do you need? And they're saying that those are hard to come by in NBA.
