Summers just doesnt explode to the rim, he's been blocked a few times from what I can tell.

Daye is looking really good I think. Playing him at SG allows him to become an extra defensive rebounder so to speak. And he is getting most of them so far. He is showing good handles and a quick first step, even against guys who are smaller than him.

Pistons have had a lot of open looks but just can't knock them down. Jerebko still showing confidence. Not a lot from Summers.

Monroe has shown a variety of different moves so far but only knocked down 1 fadeaway plus one gimme dunk. Had a nice backdoor pass already.

Daye's fadeaways have looked sick. He's actually starting to look like someone who can iso.

He is pretty much unguardable against these guys. Showing he is a willing passer too.

Edit: I've decided I'm not bitter. That's not. Not bitter.

just what i want to spend my fri doing watch them give keys to everything.... what do they get if they actually win a game, let alone a playoff game.

just makes me sad to be an nba fan right now

as for the game, i hate the camera angles like others have mentioned but daye looks good but don't think the team as a whole has much energy, but alot of that might be the practices... winning these games isn't the most important thing out there this week.

And the Heat find some way to rain on our opening Summer League game. Utterly amazing. Anyone still watching the game?

Austin Daye is the MLE Kevin Durant.

This team has some young pieces. I'm actually pretty excited to watch the building process. I really enjoyed the struggle of the Pistons from 2002-2004. This should be a good time. We still need a thug in the middle. Make those superstar fools earn it...

These are glorified scrimmages. You're not going to see a guy like him dominate. The stuff to watch is his footwork, his passing, his face up game, his smoothness in the post.

I'll admit, he could be stronger and more athletic, but I like what I am seeing so far.
