Good news! Charlie "Mad Dog" Villanueva, suspended 5 games for fighting (?) with Ryan Hollins, has been given a Christmas reprieve from the Commish, and will only have to serve 4 of his 5 game suspension. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7...drew-bynum-detroit-pistons-charlie-villanueva
So it's 3 games without CV .. right? because 1 of those 4 or 5 games was the last one of the past season. I think it would be nice to see Jerebko in the starting line-up.
Is JJ ready to go? I mean READY? I think it's gonna take him a few games (10-15) to really get back into the swing and speed of things.
I think he is as ready as anyone. He was ready to go at the end of last season, but they kept him out for precautionary measures. He has worked out hard during the offseason. He showed a few inside moves in the preseason that he never used in his rookie season. It would be nice to see him and Monroe take the next step this year.
Reducing the suspension of Chuck-V is just another example of how Stern continually stacks the deck against the Pistons. The NBA is rigged.
