But are Lebon's shoes better than these for unathletic guys?

I can't stand Lebron. I didn't like Jordan, but I respected his game. Not the case with Lebron. The guy has the brainpower of a chicken McNugget.

but alas....you would probably put those issues aside if he were wearing Piston blue and we were in the midst of embarking on our third straight NBA title....:heh:

I wasn't a big Billups fan, I suspect I would tolerate but not love Lebron if he was here.

Some people get into that partisan stuff, a guy wearing my colours is OK, but I don't. If you're lame, then you're lame on my team too.

yep there are people out here that hate Kobe except when he is out on the floor leading the team to a victory:sssh: and then there will be others out here who will hate on Artest...even when he is out there leading the team to a victory:):)

I know you're :stirthepot:, but having LeBron on the team is not an automatic championship. Just look at the Cavs. Once we dump all the salary to make room for a max contract, the remaining pieces wouldn't be that much better than what LeBron has around him in Cleveland today.

Zeke and Laimbs were jerks, but they also had style.

Same thing with Rodman and Mahorn.

LeBron has no style, and he's not particularly bright. You can see a guy like Zeke or Laimbeer owning a team, or coaching a team.

You can't see LeBron doing much more than mall and car dealership openings 30 years from now.

besides the fact that MJ never had to travel to make his points in a league in which a defender could still defend hard without hearing the whistle because he fouled a star.

Jordan had his little travel move IIRC (old timers help me out on this) but it was nothing like what guys get away with today (like Wade and James).

Jordan's travels were just the extra step that they didn't/don't call on anybody when he drove from the three throw line...

If detroit was called for fouls on Jordon like they are now called on James and the other stars.... there starting 5 would just come back from halftime in street cloths...

If I was a Star in todays game I would feel as though I don't stand up to the legends of the games... and I would speak out about wanting the refs to call it fair.... (ok maybe I wouldn't, but would like to think I would)

It's so crazy, ridicilulous and apparent I wonder where the big outcry is. This isn't sports any more.

I think that's right. At least Jordan didn't name his various traveling moves.
