Do they have a chance at Lambeau Field now that Brett Favrvrerevverer is gone?

Really? I'm not predicting a victory, but I think they will do OK. Then again, they won't have Calvin Johnson or Stafford...so never mind. :)

Packers are looking to get back into the NFC Central battle. They have their hands full thinking about Minnesota and Chicago. Maybe, just maybe...they overlook us.

    Nah !!!

    Green Bay 42 - Detroit 17

Wow, what a horrible attempt on that fake punt.

The only way a fake punt works is if you catch the D by surprise.

Stan Kwan should be shot. That guy is horrible. EASILY the worst special teams coordinator in the league.

I don't have a problem with attempting the fake in that situation. Before the play I was actually thinking that it would be a good spot to try one. But the play they chose was just doomed from the start.

I would have liked to see the same play that they did in the pre-season. A direct snap to the back for a QUICK strike. Not the crap they just tried.

If the Lions could just muster up 17 more points, then you'll have their score correct.

I absolutely HATE the Packers, but that one-hand catch by Driver was amazing.

As a Lions fan, this game is extremely painful to watch.

Drew Stanton is in for Culpepper!

I don't think he'll do much, but he'll be better than Culpepper. At the very least, we'll be able to see what Stanton can do against real NFL talent instead of 2nd, 3rd and 4th stringers.

The first INT wasn't Stanton's fault. That last one was :P

Yeah, really bad decision on that last one. The defender was in better position than the WR was.

Darn it! He took points away from Jason Hanson, who I have on my fantasy team and is getting shutout!

They wouldn't have tried a FG anyway

I think they would have kicked the FG....end the shutout and give Stanton a point-scoring drive under his belt.

Either way, even if they score a TD, I'd at least get a point for the extra point.

Is there a woman's football team in Detroit that we can cheer for that can possibly win more that 1 or 2 games a season? Since the Lions won that one game vs the Skins, I think they proved to all that they could win and will now sit back and lose the rest of them.

    NFL's Worst top 5 2009:

    1. ST LOUIS......have lost 16 in a row...lost to Jville who just lost 41-0 to Seattle.

    2. TENNESSEE...the best WORST team Ive ever seen. But to lose 59-0 to anybody in ANY sport is just historical!!!! It was my feature game down here and I was mad when turned away after it was 52-0! It was like watching a train wreck. And I still wanted to see more. Yuk.

    3. DETROIT....like I told my bro..1 and 15. U can set your watch to it.

    4. WASHINGTON.....any team with their schedule to NOT be 6-0 should be ashamed. Howd they win 2 games? Beat TAMPA BAY 16-13 and beat ST LOUIS 9-7. Their combined records? 0 AND 12!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    5. OAKLAND....beat Philly today which only further confuses me on how The Lions COULDNT win ONE game last year.

Tampa Bay(0-6) is actually a good hard nosed team:Excuse? rookie Coach...KC 1-5 will finish 5-11; Buffalo ...eh? who Knows...won again today..Watch how far Jets crumble...NFL is one sorry league sans 5 teams: Pittsburgh, New England, Indy, New Orleans and Minnsota.
