Great start by Matthew Stafford. Excellent first drive. Good composure. Nice TD pass.

    Lions lead 7-0.

Seattle goes for it on 4th and 1 and fails. Lions lead 14-0 and driving for more! Who'd of thunk it?

You'll be on the bandwagon soon.

Lions lead 17-0 after one quarter.

I'm posting for the troops, Nemo.

Stafford just made a rookie mistake. He tried to feather a ball into traffic. DBs are too fast to make that pass at the NFL level.

The end of the first half was somewhat Lionesque. Detroit calls timeout thinking they would get the ball back, but the timeout actually helps Seattle set up a drive for a field goal.

5 Interceptions. Yikes. At least he's good at passing to one of the teams!

Stafford's deep throws were just horrible today.

So far this season most of his long throws have been overthrown rockets. I think he was trying to overcompensate today. He was kind of lobbing them up there trying for more of a touch pass.

    Well that didn't work.

Lions D got absolutely no pressure on Hasselbeck all game. He had all day to throw and picked the Lions apart. He was 39-51.

The Lions tried to make up for their lack of front 4 pressure by blitzing, which still only got us 1 sack, but left an already over matched secondary even more vulnerable.

I was rooting against the Lions today because of survivor, but really, I am done with them. 50 years of suckiness. I can't take it anymore.

I want to have a real team to root for. Watching the Eagles tonight. Win or lose, I think I am ordering a McNabb jersey. I finally have a REAL NFL team to root for. :)

I REAAAAALY wish that I could! I just can't do it.

I've NEVER changed allegiances of any of team in any sport. Ever. I don't even have a 2nd favourite team in any sport. I'm a one team kind of guy.

I totally understand. But why have an allegiance to Ford the butt hole? It was so much fun rooting for Philly tonight.

This is such a dysfunctional relationship. I really should leave, there is absolutely no reason for me to stay, yet I can't go anywhere.

I'm tempted top start a thread/diary on my transition to my new team. Maybe I'll reach the NFL promised land and can encourage my friends to come along. :)
