If that's the case, call it beginner's luck. This is my first fantasy team.

Not really, your team just sucks. :pound:

He only had 25 rushing yards and 51 receiving yards in the game. Luckily he had a rushing TD and threw for a score otherwise it would have been a really bad week.

Last week he only had 43 rushing and 15 receiving with 0 scores.

The good news is that as underwhelming as LT has been and as awful as Brees has been, I'm still 2-0. But just like the Lions, I'm getting blown out in week 3.

Here is the difference between the Lions O-line and a good one. On 3rd and 1 for the Lions it either becomes 4th and 3 after being stuffed or 3rd and 6 after a penalty. With a good line like the Eagles have, it's 3rd and goal and the runner goes in for the touchdown UNTOUCHED.

    ONLY????:swear2: :yellowprison::shootingsoldier::canada:

This ain't the CFL where everyone scores a million points. There is DEFENSE in the NFL (unless you are the Lions, of course).

Ok... here comes the lecture from you and Roscoe on the merits of the CFL...I asked for that one.

76 yards from scrimmage from the #1 pick in the draft qualifies as ONLY, IMO. When your running back runs for 25 yards in a game, that's only.

He scored one touchdown and threw for another! He scored 20 points against me. Who cares how he did it?

You're just in a bad mood because I've already scored 132 points this week and because Detroit is getting exposed and hammered...just like your fantasy team.:cold::pound::stirthepot:

Don't care how good Calvin Johnson looked in the college, Millen should have either drafted a defensive back or maybe even took Adrian Peterson. I am wondering if they should have traded that pick for two picks or some established defensive player. (56 points! yikes!!) Seems like they had enough WR's.

I didn't see the game, but heard it on the radio. McNabb who had his own controversy all week based on his play in the first two games was at one point 20-21 in passing efficiency. Then to see Brian Westbrook run 14 rushes for 110 yards and the Lions backs only get 39??? What happen to the rebuilt offensive line?? Kevin Jones returns for a TD, but 3 rushes for 5 yards??

The ESPN guys had the Lions winning and indicated that they were contenders not pretenders.... Today they didn't even look like pretenders

Philly had 1 TD in the 1st 2 games...then 8 against the Liars.

The Kitties climbed back in their basket today. "mew......mew....."

    LOL!

Kitna went 29 of 46 for 446. When's the last time a QB put up that yardage number and lost the game?

A was just checking out MLive and saw a funny article title written before today's game:

'Different Lions go for 3-0 start'

Yeah, that's great, except for the fact that "The same old Lions" were the ones that showed up.

9 sacks and about a dozen each of hurries and hits. Always good for your QB who is coming back from a concussion in the previous week.

Someone should write the snap count on the inside of George Foster's eye lids, since he must be sleeping out there.

When he's awake he's been playing ok, but he's averaging about 3 false start penalties per game. Those are Jeff Backus type numbers!

Good to see that Roy Williams keep his games with a bone headed play streak alive. He had a couple of nice drops today. One that would have scored a touchdown and one that would have been for about 20 yards and a first down. Both of which he was WIDE open for.

Roy tried to run twice, BEFORE he should have caught the ball.

I need to find some self-respect and not waste another Sunday watching the Lions.

I'm too young for that. I've only been letting the Lions drive me crazy for 28 years. My dad is on 50+ years.

So Kitna was getting no protection and his receivers were dropping passes and he still got 450 yards passing?

Sounds like we have a quarterback. Too bad he's 35.

The problem is that Lions only got 21 points out of those yards. Good quarterback would've gotten more.
