I think it is about time for a Wayne Fontes comeback.

Richard "Dirt" Jordan and his co-host on the DFN postgame put it best.

Not sold on Marinelli. A coach who can only coach a certain kind of player (Rudy) isn't a good coach. You look around the league, and problem players mostly behave themselves, when they win.

The reality is, the Lions have few playmakers, obstinate coaches and a mentally handicapped front office. A Brett Favre has no interest in coming here. This is a team that announces Kitna will be the starter next season at the end of a miserable year, pre-draft, pre-FA, pre-camp.

What kind of loser picks their leader without first seeing if they can improve?

    The Lions.

I've stuck to my guns and haven't followed the Lions since Barry retired.

Until the Fords decide to sell the squad, my boycott is in full effect.
I'll resume supporting the team when we get an owner that supports the team.

I was so committed to my boycott that I moved out of the state just to get away from the Lions and their negative vibes.

The Lions are only one game back in the division race.

    Nah
The way I see it, they have the worst record in the entire league!

We have personell for a big play passing game. So he thinks he can brute force the run. Water seeks it's own level.
Also seeing signs this coaching staff can't field the best players as starters. Either they right the ship quickly or there will be a revolt.

My bad, they weeded put all the vocal leaders. Got a bunch of passive cows.

Technically, the Fords haven't actually followed the Lions since watching Blazing Saddles in 1974.

The only people who can appreciate the Lions these days are very positive people. The kind who think of "Creamation" as thinking, "Outside The Box"
