This thread is even sadder than the Eagles thread The thread idea itself isn't bad but it is sad that the Lions have given cause to create it. I guess you've got the players character concerns (irresponsibility, etc) and you can't help but wonder whether this is irresponsibility also on the part of the people who need to look into these sort of things prior to drafting the individuals. What effect will this have on the team? Will they rally around it? Six! That is just insane. The team seems to be loaded wit talent on the field, but who is to say some guys don't show up to work intoxicated on game days? So many idiots. Sometimes I really do believe that team IS cursed. But they DO bring most of it upon themselves, don't they. Too bad. Just when you thought you could go out and purchase a jersey and wear it with pride...well MAYBE everything will be ok.
I'm fine as long as they keep Suh. Those other guys are just pumping up the demand for post-NBA Ben Wallace.
It's not just the Lions. I heard on the radio on my way to work that Seattle Seahawks star running back Marshawn Lynch just got a DUI. I think it has more to do with, Money, Youth, and Free Time than any serious character issues.
I want this to be a place where people can reflect on the Lions who go over the line. Anything illegal or immoral can be posted here. Also anytime a player steps out of line during a game............... or simply stomps on another player. Aaron Berry needs to be cut... NOW. Besides this being his 2nd arrest in less than 30 days, this is also the same baffoon that, after letting a potential game changing INT fall through his hands in the playoffs tweeted: “Y'all can go back to being Broke & Miserable...now back to regular scheduled programming...”.
I love him. Gotta figure, he's expecting to be roasted to a fine toast all fall. The pressure is getting to these guys and they need to blow off steam.
