Still can't believe the Lions managed a 0-16 record in this league of parity. The majority of this collapse is due to Sr. and Millen. Where are they to take some of the heat off Rod? The guy is clueless as a coach but he stuck through a 0-16 season and had the sack to face reporters every week, kudos for that. This is not all on the coaches, what about the f'in players? The secondary was never able to stop a big play. Bodden is a turd. Can we re-build from the trenches? No more skilled positions for god sakes. You gotta to be able to run the ball and stop the run to win in this league. You would think the meat heads in the front office would have this simple concept figured out a long time ago.
You know what? I am tired of being cheated of a decent NFL team my entire life. My team will never win a Super Bowl. I'm picking a new team. For real. I won't ever root against the Lions, but I want to start enjoying the NFL. I'm picking the Eagles. For one thing they wear Sparty green. For another, I like Mcnabb and Westbrook. I'm already a Phillies fan so why not? I suggest everyone else pick a new favorite team too. Go Eagles!!!!
Unfortunately I am doomed to put up w/ this franchise cause I am a fan. I will not support the Lions w/ my $$, but no matter how pissed off I am it's hard for me to root them to lose. I really like some of the guys like Hanson, Smith, CJ, Sims. This one really hurt.
Lions suck. Once again they show how inept they are. They had a chance to win this game but 3 stupid 15 yard penalities caused them not to even come close. Mr, Robinson taunting a Green Bay player after he knocked a pass away on 4th down giving the Lions the ball. Why did Ramzee Robinson find it necessary to stand over the Green Bay player and taunt him? Dude your 0-15??? Kevin Smith throwing a football into the face of a Green Bay player on the sideline. Stupid!!!! Late hit out of bounds by Erine Simms. I could go on, but it is depressing. This whole team is a joke except for about 3 or 4 players. Marineli should have been fired with Millen. We have the worse defense in the league thanks to Marineli. These are all Marineli's players that he wanted to run his tired Tampa 2 defense. I hope he is shown the door Monday morning.
I'm not sure that Sgt. Slaughter sticking this out was a good thing. The guy is a loser, and he didn't know when to quit. He's not a better coach for sticking this out, and he's not a better man. This is bigger than Sgt. Marinate or Mullet. This is the Ford Curse.
I am watching the Eagles vs. Cowboys game right now. Dallas getting crushed 27-3. Roy Williams running poor routes. He got talked to by Tony Romo the first time he did it. Next posession wrong route run by Roy Williams interception. Roy is doing the same things he was doing here in Detroit. Looks like the ineptness has spread like a virus. So much for butter fingers Roy Williams wanting to be more part of the offense. I bet Dallas wishes they could ship him back to be with his loser Lion buddies.
This man is on his way to interview for the Lions Coaching position. He'll eat at Wendy's first. This man is currently being asked questions by WCF about coaching the Lions next season. He promises to put some "teeth" into his effort.
