    I don't see how adding these guys could make the secondary any worse than it was last year.

    Whenever I see that a FA has signed with the mighty Lions, I think to myself: "Now there's a guy that's in it for the money."

    I don't know if I like your attitude BDL.
    Mayhew is getting depth in the secondary, both these guys are 2 yr starters, maybe.
    Coaching = 50% talent...?

    Well one of them was traded here. At least we know THAT guy doesn't actually WANT to play for us. Good for him!

    Im just glad they are making moves and being proactive. With the d Line signings and the draft still to come? I like the active approach this regime is taking and they are spending the coin. If they draft anywhere as well as they did last year? I like the direction the team is headed. Maybe not leaps and bounds as far as other teams are concerned...but for the lions of old? lightyears

    A couple more moves and a stellar draft and 2010 could be a magical season (4 or 5 wins).

    Hey, NFL.com has the Lions as one of their 5 FA Winners so far. They're going in the right direction with Schwartz and Mayhew.

    It took Matt Millen 8 seasons to screw up the team, it's going to take more than 1 season to fix them.

    LG Ryan Lilja was just released by the Colts, if we could manage to sign him, we will have upgraded 3 of our 4 biggest weaknesses from last season.

    They don't even mention our CBs. And rightfully so.

    I like the Lions signings thus far. Van de Bosch, upgrade, Williams upgrade, the two corners upgrades (because Buchannan was inconsistent and sucked most games).

    Want to see how Dee Dee fits at the running back position. With a name like Dee Dee, it had to harden you growing up, lol.

    I saw that Caleb Campbell was signed for a year. I think this guy may surprise many, he's got a mean streak and is tough as nails. I was able to meet him and work with him briefly while TDY at Ft. Sill. The guy is amazing, a PT stud and is one big mother (shut yo mouth).

    Correction, it took Matt Millen all of 5 minutes to screw up this team. I'm guessing that's how long it took him to figure out where to sign his contract. They were a .500 team the year before he took over and we haven't even sniffed that since.
