:granade: Ask Eric Mangina...I mean Eric Mangini.

A lot would depend on his athleticism, but I still think Eugene Monroe would be the better LT. Shame Andre Smith had to shoot himself in the foot constantly he was really good while in Alabama.

What's up Laim?... If I knew you were in the hood we would have baked you an Amish Pie... maybe gave the family a buggy ride.
We lose about two buggies a year due to traffic accidents... we need a Buggy express lane.
They're nice folks... becoming modernized... they have huge barns with every power tool known to man.

    O.T. True story:
I was driving down the same road you took to Ponderosa and I spotted a nice oak cabinet on the side of the road (guess who needed a new bathroom cabinet at the time)... sozI reach down and put the new find in the truck bed... well about this time a truck pulls up along side and an Amish fella steps out (yep he was driving it)... In my quick wit I says hey I was looking for the owner of this cabinet... would that be you?... he shakes head (confirming yes you dumass commoner thief)... so I help him load it in his truck.
In my haste I had had left the keys in the running truck and somehow locked the door... with the cell phone inside.
So I asked him if he happened to have a phone handy?.... he said his girlfriend in the truck did (obviously the wench that converted him to sinhood).
SozI, call home... only to find that one of the boys is using our dial up connection (don't laugh we just recently got a wireless connection to the top of a grain silo).
Now I have no ride (in January) and no way of calling home.
Um, hey there my Amish friend (whom I took your cabinet) do you think you can give me a ride home (4 miles)?
    His response?
"Hop in my friend we'll be glad to help you out"... how's that for quality upbringing?
We talked on the way home about why he was driving a truck instead of a buggy etc... he said he had recently converted since his new acquintance (with the hottie commoner riding shotgun)... he needed a truck to transport his cabinets from his new business.
I did the right thing and bought two cabinets just like the one by the side of the road from him.

We see Amish wannabees that start business under the "Amish tax break umbrella"... you just can't tell who's real anymore....
and yes they will have a home brew with you if you work along side them.... quality craftsmanship for cheap labor.
They will always give you a friendly wave...
They have one of the largest Amish craft shows in Michigan every spring in Clare.

Hopefully he will be a positive influence on the team and not be a health risk.

I can see the Headline now. Lions Suffer From Stafford Infection.

What would his contract be? 70 million dollars, half of which would be guaranteed?

Looks like the fans at Detroitlions.com want Curry for the 1st pick.

I'd rather have Curry or either of the LTs. I can see Smith being the next Joe Thomas - especially if we don't draft him.

ENOUGH WITH THE SEXY POSITIONS! We need to draft the down and dirty ones first. Just look at our last 5 top 10 picks. Three WRs a QB and a LB. Two of the WRs are no longer in the league, the QB is on his third or fourth team as a backup and our team still can't run the ball, protect the QB or play any defence.

At least the LB is still on the team.

It would be a perfect merger of big time losers.

Vick would give the Lions sort of a bad-azz persona...something they've never had in my lifetime. It would also give the Lions a great QB...something they've also never had in my lifetime.

Signing with the Lions would be good for Vick too. I think Goodell would reinstate him immediately cuz of how bad the Lions suck.

Well maybe two negatives can cancel each other out.

Vick brings a lot more drama than prison time, dog fighting, etc. There is the whole Ron Mexico thing as well.

He's the sort of guy who could elevate the team, or destroy it. Which now that I write it, seems like it is all upside for an 0-16 team, lol

This would be ballsy. So the Lions won't do it.

The Lions could use a little drama cuz they're passionless.

@ 0-16 the Lions are perennial underdogs.

Ronnie Mexico has proven that he and dogs don't mix.
