The Millen [strike]era[/strike] mess is over!
0 and 3 in the 08 season having surrendered ~110 pts over 3 games. Thank you Bill Ford for outing that dork. The Lion org. isn't out of the woods yet as much washing needs to be done. They must get a proven GM. And they're not many to choose from.

Da Bear got lucky last week holding off the Eagle. The Eagle won every phase of the game but scoreboard. Orton, who has beaten us twice, is now the starter. He is considered a good game manager.
    -
The Lions can't get near the oppossing RB before he runs for a first down. Some of that is poor Defensive playcalling.

Until Ford deems it a good thing to hire out instead of inhouse or offthewall, consider this season done. I will tell you guys something interesting, more and more info is going to come out that shows Millen was only a part of the problem.
Millen should take the blame in a lot of areas (scouting, drafts) but not all of it.

Do you hate the Beartooth pass. A most scenic road in Montana.

I looked at a map yesterday, and Colorado is more south than I thought it was, and Montana was more north than I thought it was.

So then I thought, Montana, north, borders Saskatchewan and Alberta.

    I like Montana.

So no, I don't hate anything or anyone in Montana.

I drove over the Bearstooth pass on my way from Detroit to Seattle. Beautiful doesn't describe it.

I hate the BareNakedLadies. Unless, of course we are talking about actual ladies... I like them, just not that goofy band.

Until the Oline started to cost too much. Lost Glover, Lomas Brown, and Hartings because they insisted to go cheap--and eventually Barry.

How many times do they need to be told, games are won on the offensive and defensive lines.

I've seen enough of Kitna. It's time to see what Stanton can do.

Kitna creates absolutely NOTHING himself. He stays in the pocket too long, doesn't step up to avoid pressure, refuses to run when there is an opportunity and blames everyone else for everything.

This team is so incredibly bad. Talent wise. Mental toughness wise. Coaching. Preparation. Execution. They absolutely suck at every single aspect of the game.

I'm not even surprised or upset by it anymore. It just is.

This team finds new and embarrassing ways to lose each and every week.

Time for Marinelli and Kitna to go now....maybe that will shake up a few players to perform better. Right now they are headed for top 3 pick in the draft.....good thing, Millen won't be there to pick it.

The season is pretty much over if they lose the next two games, so might as well bench Kitna and play Stanton or Olovsky and find out if they are the future. If neither can cut it, look for a QB with that top 3 or 4 pick if there is one available and has better upside than what we got.

I think if they get decent protection, either Orlovsky or Stanton will do as well as can be expected under the circumstances. I really think Stanton is going to be a stud, if given a fair chance.

I say go with Stanton right now. Forget Orlovsky. Orlovsky ain't exactly quick. Neither Orlovsky nor Kitna can put the D on its heels.

I'm hoping the Lions put in Orlovsky over Stanton today because the game was already out of hand and didn't want to risk injury or a confidence blow to Stanton.

But they are idiots...so who knows?

Doesn't matter who the QB is. Remember...The time of posession was 38 minutes for Da Bears and 22 minutes for Da Lions. No QB can win with that much time. Defense has to get off the field. Marenilli has to clear out his locker.
