    True, but the offense can also help by limiting their 3 and outs. Sustained drives help keep your defense off the field. I think that Stanton could help in that regard with his scrambling ability and by stepping up in the pocket to avoid drive killing sacks.

    He said about a week ago that he thinks he would be fine if the Lions needed him (but that his grip wasn't exactly right or something like that).

    I figure he'll be 100 percent next week.

    Stanton is fine. He was inactive today. They could have activated him, but it doesn't matter. We will just have to deal with this team all year no matter who coaches it.
