A different twist to this one. The Lions will look pitiful most of the game only to come back and win!! Our defense will continue to bend but not break, coming up big again in the forced TO department. Can you say 6-2???
Lions are a much better team at home. I wouldn't expect them to win big, but they will have a good chance to come out on top. 6-2 does sound enticing.
The Lions have been playing and feasting on sub 500 teams. Now they must pay the price as the good teams start rolling into town and on to their schedule. Look for a big loss against the Broncos. I'm going with a score of 41-17, Broncos...................Lions luck has just run out.
I think maybe at this point he is just doing it out of superstition? Denver played tonight, so they have one day less to prepare. My early thoughts are that Detroit has a shot to win this one. It's kind of nice. It's Halloween and we are still in the playoff hunt.
Actually...in Michigan some people kinda start the celebration tomorrow :( Dang...Denver couldn't punch it in. Tie game.
Yea, the Broncos needed to score a TD there. Favre is only going to need about 6 seconds to score in OT.
Our boy Dre Bly got beat on the winning TD in OT. [SARCASM]Gotta feel for the poor guy[/SARCASM]. He needs a call from his buddy Joey Blueskies to cheer him up.
Denver losing like that. I don't see the Broncos losing again next week. They'll be looking for revenge.
I like the Lions to win this one. I think the offense has a big day and Calvin has a break-out game. And the defense, buoyed by the loud Ford Field crowd, makes big plays. Detroit 31, Denver 27
Not if the Lions coaches and players use the Lou Holtz publicicty approach. For example if asked about their chances against Denver: "Jay Cutler is a quarterback that reminds me a lot of Brett Favre. In fact he may be as good as Favre right now." "We've been fortunate to get some wins but I don't like our chances against Denver" etc.
