Week 6 marks the NFL trade deadline as well as the Lions' Bye Week (finally, an opponent the Lions D should be able to tackle). Normally a bye week wouldn't require its own thread, but these are the Lions after all. Something always seems to happen during the bye week for this team.

The Lions are 3-2 going into their bye. Although coming off an ugly loss, they're still above .500 and have 2 more wins than I thought they would at this point. Heck, they already have as many wins as they did all of last season.

Should the Lions go easy during the bye week and try to rest and recuperate? Or should they go full pads and full throttle?

Do you expect (not hope for) any changes during the down time?

The Lions should be looking to make trades. Send 2 WRs to whoever wants them and get some line help. Watch Adrian Peterson and dream of what coulda been.

Don't come in here all pissed off if the Lions get blown out this weekend.
The league could set up a make up game but not tell us. They're all against us.
