Lions vs Giants - 2007 - Week 11 Game Thread

Nationally televised game. At home. Coming off a loss.

Which Lions team will show up?

I'm here to provide an accurate prediction for this Sunday's game.
The Giants are 0-3 against the Packers and the Cowboys. They have obtained their victories against second rate teams. The Lions have plans for Eli Manning which include a steady diet of blitz packages. Look for a feast of turnovers surrendered by the G-men. Lions win 38-13.....:winner_first_h4h:

The Lions do well when offered a national TV audience. They are ready to make their stand. Remember, it's Kitna against Eli. Eli hasn't learned yet how to avoid the bad 4th quarter. He will do poorly against an opportunistic team. Kitna is only inconsistent. He has the tools to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. I really think he savors the matchup on Thanksgiving Day and wants the Lions to have a Prime Time record going into that contest. Karma is on their side this week.

Just do us all a favor, Nemo, and pick the Giants. You know you control the Lions' destiny.

Good, then I can watch it in the morning and have the afternoon to cry..

This is a tough game to figure. I look to it being a defensive battle. Both teams are excellent on takeaways and score off them. Both offenses have injury problems. Wouldn't surprise me to see it come down to 13-10 Lions.

Don't quote me on that Dlev. When it was originally scheduled, it was at 4pm and it was said it was nationally televised.

Edit: I just checked the Lions' website and they have it at the new time and it still says that it's national. Actually, it says that about all of their remaining games, so I don't know how accurate it is.

Well I'm getting it down here in Virginia.... the first lions game i will get to watch (other than the end of last weeks loss)so hopefully it will be a win

If the Lions D was able to tackle or get pressure on the QB and the Lions O was able to protect, run block or play call, this team might actually be good.

I'm less and less impressed with Shaun McDonald each week. He just tries to do too much and ends up making mistakes. It has been resulting in fumbles, loss of yards, and wasted time (instead of stepping out of bounds, he tries cutting it back inside when time is more important than yardage).

Oh yeah, and Troy Walters is absolutely garbage on returns. He needs to go North. PERIOD. He is not fast enough to try this East - West crap.

McDonald ends the game on a missed catch tipped into the air as the Lions were driving for hte winning score. Game over.

Didn`t get to see the game but did the Lions face Eli or Peyton today??
