The Cardinals of Stanford have a set of twins playing for them this year by the names of Brook and Robin Lopez. They are both 7 footers. This could be and probably is the first time in NCAA level I basketball history that a team has had two brothers over 7 feet playing for them at the same time.

    They are freshmen.

Last night Brook, whose numbers on the year on not as good as his twin's Robin numbers,

    11 rebounds

^^^Yup. The record is actually held by a pair of twin brothers from Troy, Michigan, named (can you believe it?) Michael and James Lanier. They were 7'4 and played small-college ball together, apparently without much success.

That sounds about right. They were born in 1969, and I remember an article or two about them in the Detroit papers.

According to this website they were 7'6". But whose quibbling over a couple of inches at that height.

I heard somewhere that Robert Wadlow actually played some college basketball, but his guards got tired of throwing ally - oop passes all game long. Not only that, but Mr. Wadlow kept grabbing his own team mates shots thinking that they were passes intended for him. Not the best way to make friends on the team.
