If this goes down the Magic will be the favorites in the East next season. I tend to agree with those that say Shaq will just clog the lane on LeBron and take that facet of his game away. Magic will take the 'ship next year.
Yahoo now says the terms have been agreed upon Magic in talks to acquire Nets' Carter - NBA - Yahoo! Sports
I love it how the trading frenzy is starting!!! Shaq a Cav, Vince to Orlando, alot of things changing, it's getting interesting
No way. So what if Orlando gets Vince Carter and Cleveland gets Shaq? Joe Dumars is going to make the jaws of every GM in the league drop when he trades down our pick and drafts Capp Spayce. I don't know much about him. Some say he has great hands and some say he is turnover prone. Some say he plays Center but some say he is most valuable as a Guard. Some say he is European and other claim he played most of his ball in the United States. But I will tell you this. Capp Spayce will be the savior of the Pistons. Just watch. In Joe we trust. What an exciting day this will be when that announcement is made. Yessir. I can't wait.
By the way, you'll have to add another 20 pts on the top of the Magic's scoring average if they also retain Turk. That way they should average about 120 PPG.
I hear ya. It seems that instead of the talk that Joe is trying to compile a team full of combo players, he's really looking to fill the roster with cap space......
They will regret trading CLee. Still a good move for ORL. edited to add; Although if Hedo comes back, Howard will now never get the ball.
ho hum. We are so far from the top of the conference that these trades don't even matter. but, I think this one hurts the Magic.
Mark my words, Vince will ruin the Magic. Team chemistry is very fragile. Also, Shaq does not make Cavs the favorite either. I hate Shaq. Gives me another reason to hate Cavs.
This just in on the wire: Joe Dumars is about to complete a blockbuster trade following his selection of Capp Spayce with the 15th pick in the 2009 NBA draft. An unpopular selection amongst Pistons Forum fans, the rights to Capp Spayce have been traded for the rights to Branew Rosta. Not much is known about Branew Rosta, although Hubie Brown has described him as a combination of multiple players and positions, and that he has temendous upside potential. The Pistons organisation will be counting on Branew Rosta to return them to the elite of the East in the coming seasons. Stay tuned for more details.
In the future I think they will as well, and not just because I'm living so close to his mom. In the short term though they could be scary. Howard is surrounded by nothing but incredibly DEADLY draw and kicks. If they double team D-HO then somebody is in some "bleeping" trouble. Offensively this team is the best I have ever seen on paper given the current rules.
