Looks like he might challenge Jerebko for the "Ladies Night" posters.

Someone turn off that Barry White please.

This cat wouldn't be caught dead in Mr. D's Members Only jacket he used to wear to the games.

There's a few people that interested in the team. Though to be honest I wouldn't mind Gores. Ilitch, no thanks.

I wonder if this means Lee will finally get a job with the Pistons. Check out the photo in this link also. This is outstanding!!!

You make a good point, he'll get a ton of chicks in LA dropping Stuckey's name.

What gets me is what reason does he have to have all these posed pictures? He owns a capital/equity firm yet he prances around like a model. George Clooney probably doesn't have photos like this.

This can only turn out well and is the move the Pistons need to crack the upper echelon of Laker/Celtic type teams. He's the 147th wealthiest man in America!!!

He kind of seem likes Mark Cuban's cooler, albeit shorter, older brother.

I can imagine him giving Mark %%%% like...

What a cute little trophy, yeah my team has a bunch of those some where. I think they keep them under our three world championship trophies. But that one really is adorable, really.

    So many questions:

    1. What kind of presence will (a big IF but please humor me) this guy be at the games?
    2. Will he have people like Lindsay Lohan at the games with him?
    3. Will anyone be allowed to sit next to him at all if they're not a celebrity? I am guessing no to this because it'll cramp his coolness.
    4. Will the Palace Locker Room store start selling those ripped neck T-Shirts that he was wearing in BDL's photo? If yes, put me down for one.
    5. Can I change my screen name to Tom Gores?

Where does Cuban rank on the list of wealthiest Americans, is he above or below TG's 146? Mr D. wasn't a billionaire was he?

I went to bed last night hoping this guy buys the team and hopped on the computer this morning within 15 seconds of getting up hoping to find more news. I have a wife and 2 kids.

If there was a podcast to discuss this you'd have to hang up on me to get me to stop talking about this.

Yeah Ernie Mr. D was a billionaire, he was worth a bit more than Tom.

From Wikipedia: His combined business ventures led him to an estimated net worth of $3.5 billion, which led to Forbes ranking him as the 68th richest man in the United States.

I could never see Mr. D sporting those shirts or that flash. He was low key and maybe the last of a dying breed of low profile-powerful businessman.

We found the fire house everyone. Mr D. was way wealthier than this clown.

I read something earlier that this guy was Mr. D-like in that he did well in taking over a lot of downtrodden businesses. Hopefully these head shots means he is willing to spend more than the great Mr D if the Pistons have a chance at winning.

Hiring Sheed as the head coach would put me through the roof. I wouldn't be able to turn my eyes away.
