I remember the day he made that announcement...thought my best friend was leaving me.

Now 18 years later he is still smiling among us and giving back to the community.

Intriguing...I was driving in the Lincoln Park Plaza, getting ready to shop at Sears when the news came over the radio. My friend and I thought he was a goner. Glad to see he overcame.

Magic doesn't have AIDS, he has HIV (Humaan Immunodeficiƫntie Virus) which is something different. This virus can cause AIDS because it breaks down your immunity system.
But with a good diet, medication and healthy lifestyle you can keep your body as healthy as possible and fight the breakdown of the immunity system so that the chance of actually getting AIDS is getting smaller.

With the money Magic has he can provide himself with the best doctors and all that is needed to keep him healthy.
I am glad that he took the negative and turned it into a positive by starting to be a spokesperson for the HIV/AIDS community.
