They seem to be to light to wear up and down the court for a full game without falling a part. If he does wear them, I suspect he would have to have at least 2-3 pairs to wear a game. The sweat suits don't look that half bad. Please see his website for his vision and products.

Your son represents the younger generation well. Not only will they not buy them because they are under a certain price, those who do will be ridiculed for sporting them.

Sort of like the "payless sneaker", only everyone will know!!!!!!!!

Dre I love that area of Cali, my sister lived in Diamond Bar for about 5 years in the mid 90`s. I was very close to moving out there until my wife and I experienced an earthquake......................

The first one I went to was in Ann Arbor back in 2004. Seems like that store only had Michigan Wolverins stuff with prices ranging from $6 to $50.

The store that I went to this past weekend, EVERTHING was $6.98 with the exception of the Marbury stuff that topped off at $14.98. They had sweats and tshirts from all of the major schools as well as other non-descripted pants, tops, and jackets for $6.98. Of course it was crowded with kids looking for affordable school clothes.

    The S & B website Welcome to SteveandBarry's
doesn't indicate they do mail order, but I am sure it is next on their docket and maybe you can order something there.

I can buy something for you and ship it, but I am sure based on low price you would want to see/feel the goods before you purchased them.
(oops-:ohwell: time to move this topic to another thread)

My son's favorite quote "Nobody in my school buys clothes from here '"Target, Sears, Wal-mart, Mervyns, etc." he would rather go to another non chain store and pay $25 more for the same garment, and tell his friends he got at the cool store:pound:

Experienced several quakes since I've been here,(1980) but only felt 4 of them and never had any damage...luck I guess.

    Thanks Dre.

I've been to a Steve and Barry's when I was in in E.Lansing a couple years ago. They had stuff for lots of college and Pro teams.

Their stuff was all advertised at $20 bucks or less. It wasn't the greatest, but you couldn't beat the price.

I'm really rooting for this Starbury line to take off. It may be a longshot, but I admire him for at least trying to make a difference. If anyone can get a kid to see things differently in todays world, it's a pro athlete who has been there.

I'm now a Starbury fan and I'm even going to stop rooting against the Knicks. lol.

I purchased a George Gervin EMU hat from Steve and Barry's in the Eastpointe mall (Formerly East Detroit for you cats that moved away so long ago). I paid 10 bucks for it, and it's my favorite basketball player of all time. So cool and so cheap, just like me!

National Public Radio aired a story about the Starbury One this morning that's worth checking out (listen here), and an article about it went up today on Slate.com. Although are some questions about the quality as compared to Air Jordans, it sounds like it's amazing for the price.

DOOM! An underground market on his own...

Marbury's cool man...just had a ton of pressure on him. Similar to his cousin Telfair as well. A lot of those cats out of N.Y. just have overbearing people around them looking to cash in. It's the b-ball mecca and there are more than enough vultures.

It sad that parents don't step in and let this guy's have a childhood. The parents often see dollar signs just like to vultures trying to befriend them. I always thought Telfair was so overrated and waas not ready for the NBA.

It's a noble movement, to be rewarded by royalties instead of paid to endorse. Shame that all these lines are not available here.
